I haven't been feeling well the last couple of days. Everything seemed different, almost more focused, and I was extremely moody. My dorm mate noticed and told me all I needed was a night out away from school. I loved her logic. So I let her take me to the Spot. I walked in with her and her friends, all of us a picture of elegance. My red hair bounced about my shoulders and my back, contrasting nicely with the black halter top. My make up was done just enough to bring out the intensity of my green eyes. I felt sexy, besides the clammy feeling that never left. There was new and old faces alike. A wave of sights and smells overwhelmed me, and I had to catch myself on the nearest table, which was luckily empty.
"Are you ok?"
I wasn't sure where it was coming from, but I nodded and sat down. Every one sat around me, giving me worried looks. "I'm just dizzy. Probably dehydration." This seemed to satisfy them. We all turned to the stage, as I tried to clear my head. Everything fell away as I saw the singer. She was more than beautiful, she was a goddess. I had the urge to run my fingers through her short brown hair. My heart skipped a beat when she looked right at me. Her eyes never left mine as she sang. My entire body screamed that she was dangerous, but she was too beautiful for me to care at the moment. Eventually, the band stopped, and they left the stage. I turned back to my company and talked aimless chatter. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and saw the goddess.
"Let's go somewhere" Her voice was smooth and demanding. All I could do was nod and let her take my hand and lead me out. Everyone at the table giggled. She took me around the back of the club. The night air felt amazing on my skin, and I felt like I could breath deeper. She let go of my hand and I did a small twirl enjoying the air. When I face her again, her face had contorted. No longer did she look like a goddess, but a demon from hell. He had fangs and yellow eyes. I screamed and fell backwards as she lunged at me

The night air was calming but she wasn't focused on that for tonight. She was more focused on the world around her. The vampires seemed to be out in more force the last few nights. Where she used to find only one or two vamps a night she had been finding many more. Last night she staked five and the night before six. Something was up and she wasn't sure what.
A scream broke her thoughts and she took off towards the club. She had never been to the club but she didn't much care for them. Occasionally she'd go in but the thought of dancing and throwing your body around. No thanks. Wasn't her style.
She broke into the alley and slowing her pace she pulled the vampire's head back by the hair. She bit back the urge to make a corny line. Defiantly way too much time with Doc and his annoying puns. In a smooth motion she pushed the vampire back away from the girl and situated herself between the two.
The vampire growled, annoyed at being pulled from her meal.
"You'll pay for that!" she growled. How menacing. Like Rogue had never heard that one before.
The vampire lunged forward and Rogue blocked the first punch, but took the second. Rogue punched but the vampire lept back but it gave Rogue the room she needed to kick the vampire back. She pulled a stake from her boot and looked at thee vampire before her with a slight grin.

I was completely dumbfounded. I just laid on the ground and watched the fight. The new comer seemed to have the upper hand, and when she pulled out the piece of wood, the look on her face said she already won. I had no idea what in the world was going on, but I felt a great amount of gratitude, because I knew something bad could have happened if she didn't show up. I watched her fight, she was very graceful, and very well coordinated. Both of them were, It was like watching a very violent dance routine. Elegant yet outrageous. I had the same feeling that I did when I first saw the singer. Maybe I should have listened to what my body was telling me. I felt sick.

The other vampire charged. Why did they always seem to charge when the fight was ending like this? she let the vampire run past and without even thinking she rammed the stake through the other vampire's heart from the back and didn't even turn to watch the vampire turn to dust as she fell to the ground. Rogue was more concerned about the woman. "Are you okay?" she asked, looking down at the woman who looked sick.

I let out a gasp of surprise when the singer turned to dust. She just disappeared. I turned my head slowly to look at my savior. Ironically, she was standing in front of my view of a street light, so she had a glow about her. I didn't know what to say. Did she just kill someone? Did I really see what I thought I saw? Am I dreaming? Her words echoed in my head "Are you alright?" I had to check. My hands hurt from the fall, I was still feeling sick from before, but other than that, everything seemed to be in order. Except my brain. I nodded, not being able to think of anything else to do

"You should probably go back inside," she said, watching the confused girl. She didn't look okay but the shock of being attacked wasn't exactly something you get over so quickly. That was when she smelt it. She had missed it before when she was fighting the vampire but she could smell it now. It was soft, she hadn't even gone through her first change yet.

"Yeah..." I slowly stood up, extremely dizzy. I looked down at my outfit, my skirt had torn when I fell, showing the bandage on my right leg. My hands were raw, and my hair was probably a mess. I didn't feel like going back inside. It would have been too much. I looked at my rescuer one more time. "Thanks. I think... What was that?" My head was swimming, and I really wanted to know that I wasn't crazy. All I needed now was to end up in the mental hospital. I couldn't do that, midterms were coming up.

Great, this girl was a mess. "Here, sit down," she said, pulling out an egg crate that was probably used to carry liquer in. "You look like you're going to pass out." Normally she didn't tell people the truth but in this case she was going to need to. The girl smelt like a werewolf and had no clue what vampires were. A very dangerous combination given the two's history together. "You don't know what that was?" she asked once the girl looked like she wasn't going to pass out. "That was a vampire." She waited for a reaction.

I sat down for the simple fact that my legs felt like jelly, and they were going to cave beneath me. The world stopped spinning for a second. It felt good to sit. I let her words wash over me. At first I didn't believe what I heard. She said a vampire? Maybe I was going crazy. Maybe this was all just some dream, and I was back in my dorm room safe. "Vampire eh?" I thought about it. Vampires weren't real, were they? If it was a dream, I was just going to go with it. "You mean like Edward?" I couldn't have said Dracula or something? What was wrong with me?

"Edward?" she asked confused. "I don't know an Edward." She gave the woman a weird look. "But vampires are real. Drink blood, kill to live, fear of crosses, and turn to dust when staked."
This young werewolf had no idea of anything to do with vampires. "Werewolves and demons also exist," she said, trying to see if the girl had any clue she was a werewolf. After a moment of nothing but surprise she sighed, looking down at the bandage.
"Where did you get that?" she asked.

Practicing his manouvers and building up his endurance on the rooftops, Kyler was moving toward the sound of the scream, and the subsequent battle that took place. He knew he wouldn't get there in time to assist, but as he drew closer, he heard the familiar voice of Rogue, and another voice - a girl he wasn't so familiar with.
Before assuming the worst, Kyler remembered the last time he spent any time with the vampire lady and figured that it wasn't her that was attacking this girl, perhaps she had indeed saved her. Nevertheless, Kyler decided to go and inspect the scene.
He was in his greys, and his daggers were at his sides, ready to be pulled out at a moment's notice. But the calm tones let his ears know, before his eyes could register the sight, that the battle had long since been over by the time he had arrived - as if he could be of any help anyway.
He slowly made his way to the edge of the building above the alleyway in which Rogue and the red-haired girl sat, the dust on the ground let him know quickly that a vampire was here before, and Rogue had dealt with it. He sat cross-legged on the edge of the structure and looked down upon the girls.

"God, you're not one of those Twilight twits, are you?" Doc asked, entering the alley. He noticed the tell tale sign of dust on the ground and the feeling of mana in the air. Kyler was here too? "I missed the fight? Darn," he looked at the girl, quickly turning serious. "How is she?"

"She's fine, now don't stress her," she almost snapped, glaring at him before turning her attention back to the girl. "Now, where did you get this wound?" If it was what she thought it was, then it would help her explain what was going to be happening to her. The next full moon phase was starting tomorrow and that wasn't good. She could already smell the wolf in her even if it was faint.
"Were you attacked by a wild dog?" she asked, hoping Doc was smart enough to take the hint of that question.

Wild dog? Something was happening here, and Kyler knew that a "wild dog" was not literally what Rogue meant... wouldn't she have said "dog" otherwise, and left out the "wild"?
Kyler decided not to interrupt, and just watch. He could learn something here. Part of him worried for the girl though, it seemed like her troubles weren't over, but rather, just beginning.

I was about to answer when a man strode up to us. He seemed to my savior, and he seemed upset that he missed the attack on me. "I'm not a Twilight fan, my room mate is. I have to listen to her talk about him all the time." Despite the situation, I had pride. I had to stand up for it. I turned my attention to the more important and odd question. I was surprised when she asked if a dog had done it. "Yeah... How did you know" I looked down at the bandages, almost ashamed. "I can promise I don't have rabies. And I don't normally go into alley ways with strange girls either..."
