Looking back at the girl, he continued, "... yeah, so perhaps you should come and stay for a day or two at the university I stay at, till the full moon phase is over. It's safe there, you know?"
Kyler wondered if the girl would actually accept, or see this gesture as him attempting to "hit on her" or something. Then he began to wonder if she did accept, would Stella be all too pleased about housing a just-turned werewolf in her school. He figured that if he did go through with this, while it might be safe for her, he would have a fair bit of responsibility on his hands for at least the next few days. At least he could expel some energy if things did turn a little nasty.

Well, KYLER certainly seemed interested in the girl. Wonder what brought the over-protective streak on, Doc thought.
"Staying at the university won't be much good," he said outloud. "You'd need something to keep her in so she doesn't attack anyone, or at the very least restraints. Find something like that by tomorrow night," he looked at the girl. "If you want that is."

"There's no way out of the restraining factor, if she doesn't restrain herself and she hunts, then we'll end up as her hunters. A werewolf who does not take measures to protect others is no better then a murderer or a vampire," what a hypocrite. She was first to admit that her sense of morals were very skewed but she would not allow a rabid werewolf loose on LA.
"I'm not sure that a school would be the best place to house a werewolf."
((They don't know that it's a paranormal school.))

The full moon was tomorrow? I didn't even have time to process the fact that I was a werewolf. "A school...? Shouldn't I need like a cage or something? I don't know where I can find a cage." I had to think quickly. I did NOT want to be the hunted. "The zoo? No, there's other animals in there..." I was at a completle loss. I was really glad that I had help. I probably would have had a panic attack. A thought occured to me. Finding myself tomorrow morning, covered in blood, a dead body next to me. I shivered at the thought, and almost gagged.

These people weren't aware as to what the university really was, and that posed a problem. Kyler knew one other place he could take her, which he KNEW would be safe, but Martin would be furious at him revealing the location to absolutely anyone... much less a newly turned werewolf that he had just met. Stupid secrets.
"If we need restraints... I know a place." Kyler uttered after a short time, not fully confident in what he was about to do, "It's safe, there's a sure place where no one, once placed in, could get out - at least for a night or two... if a cage is really what we need."
Martin is going to murder me. Kyler thought to himself as he awaited a reply.

I gave the guy who was talking with a confused look. I didn't know a place like that exhisted in L.A. But then again, there were a lot of things I didn't know exhisted in L.A. I was putting my trust in three people I had never met before tonight, but one of them saved my life. They couldn't be all bad. "Let's do it." The words came out of my mouth before I could stop them.

Doc raised his eyebrow at Kyler. The hesitant way he said that... this was something he wasn't supposed to do.
Oh so VERY interesting indeed.
"Alright then," Doc said with a shrug. "If you insist kid. I'll head down to the black market, pick up some restraints, just in case."

I nodded. Everything seemed like a crazy dream, and I was seriously expecting to wake up any second. I wasn't even sure what to say to something like that. They were all very calm. I know I was freaking out mentally. Maybe it was a bravado? I doubted that. "By the way, I'm Ashley..." It only made sense. I hadn't introduced myself, in the almost dying, then the finding out I'm a werewolf

Kyler stepped forward, toward Ashley, held out his hand towards her and introduced himself, "I'm Kyler." he smiled, "and really, there's not all too much to be worried about... give it a couple of cycles, and you'll be used to it and in control, and you'll be feeling better than ever."
It wasn't a lie... mostly... Kyler decided that this girl had been through enough tonight, and it was better to say something positive, rather than stick to the whole truth, or letting her know that it could potentially be very difficult, depending on how she coped. Either way, Kyler was more worried about what Martin might to do him, more than what she could possibly do to him.

"I'm not sure I care for the idea of you taking her off to some place," she said, watching the group. "I'm sure you've never had any experience with werewolves and they can be very dangerous. All it takes is one bite and you become one of them. Even their saliva on an open wound well make you one of them. Besides how do we know that where ever you stash her well be strong enough to hold her?"

Kyler turned to Rogue and hesitated for a moment before speaking... not due to uncertainty, but more so that he could find the right words - he didn't want to reveal to them who Martin was and where the place he was taking Ashley to was, and so had to structure his words accordingly.
"I'm not counting on my experience to handle a werewolf here... like Doc, I have... contacts... who have had more than enough experience with werewolves," He replied, "the place I'm taking her to, trust me, it'll hold her. I know how dangerous werewolves can be, and I wouldn't have suggested this place unless I was absolutely, one-hundred percent certain that it would be a safe place to go."

"I wouldn't trust a new werewolf to someone who is inexperienced," she replied simply. "And I wouldn't trust putting one into the hands of someone I don't know. If you have the place to guard her then I well stay with her."

Yup... definitely dead. Rogue was not making this easy... who would have thought that good will would turn around and bite him in the arse.
"Ok." He finally responded, "but really, I need this place to remain... well... as much of a secret as possible. I'm pretty sure you guys have nothing against Martin... but there are people who do. He'll be willing to help, but he'll probably size you up first." He directed the last part at Rogue particularly, knowing her to be seen by Martin as a threat, initially.

I listened to the talk for a minute or two, my head reeling with so many thoughts. I felt like there was a worm in my stomach, slowly eating it. "Ok... so the three of us will meet up somewhere tomorrow? Does it happen when the sun goes down... or will I change when the moon is at the highest point in the sky?" I really knew nothing, so many of the werewolf movies popped into my head. Wolves were pretty animals, but I had never seen a real one. Was I going to be an ugly monster? Too many questions. I needed to get either really drunk and sleep or something

Martin, eh? A name to play with. It's amazing how nerves force people to reveal more than they probably should.
"Well, if you think Martin will be okay with it," Doc said, purposefully stressing the name. "Then i supposed I'll let you guys go. Rogue can handle it if things get out of control. You know how to call me, kid," he looked down at the new were - Ashley- simpethicly. "Name's Doc," he said, pulling a small card out of his pocket. "If you need anything..." it wasn't technically a business card. Actually, it had a small tracing spell from a witch who owed him a favour. He planned on giving one to Jessy and definately one to Kyler - the kid was just to interesting to leave unwatched. "Call the number," with that he turned and walked out, giving a small wave. You really are an interesting young man, Kyler, he thougt.
Very interesting indeed.
