I watche Maya thoughtfully. There was something to more to this than trying new things. I'd have to keep an eye on her.

"Demon familiar?" Charlotte asked.
"No," I said, amused. "Something else...damn. My brain sometimes. More holes than a siv," I tucked into my lemon chicken and fried rice, still thinking. What was it?

((argh I'm too slow at posting, you guys got there first))
I noticed Doc's gaze and couldn't help but share his concern, there was something there Maya wasn't telling us...but what? She would have told me wouldn't she? I mean I just went all the way to Cleveland with her...and Doc was like her brother...there couldn't be anything else could there? 'No' I reasoned to myself. 'We just made her better, she's fine, jsut an odd day' but there was the nagging memory of her dream in my mind and the feeling that maybe she was keeping something from us and Doc was right it was something that sounded really familiar.
