"Well, if I could convince my dear sister to set up a Groundhogs day type deal . . ." I offered rather lewdly.
Mai's face shown confusion for several moments until her brain had interpretted what I meant and her eyes went wide. And then she tackled me!

I grinned wildly and kissed him deeply- my mind still hadnt quite dealt with the fact that he was alive, and it made me kinda hyper.
"I love you." I whispered, our faces so close that our noses nearly touched.
"I love you." He replied. I smiled, and went to kiss him again... but i froze, and a look of terror cross my face. "Mai?" Joshua asked worriedly. I leapt off him and bolted for the bathroom, my stomach heaving. I knew that the sound of what happened next must have been heard in the next room, for when i staggered back in, Joshua looked stricken.
"Sorry." I said. "Apparently my body cant tell time." I flopped onto the bed beside him.

((Sorry to interrupt but I'm bored))
I walked back in ahead of Doc and Avalon and immediately wished I hadn't. I stopped dead in my tracks and swivelled round to face the door where Doc and Avalon appeared blocking my intended hurried exit.
"Reverse people." I muttered but I don't think they understood my meaning because a secind later the three of us were standing with our backs to Josh and Maya as Doc cleared his throat loudly and significantly.
"Anyone hungry?" He said brightly once we could look again. "I got food."

I jumped, startled, but i knew for a fact that the reason they all thought they had shocked me was definitely not the true one. I took a deep breath, begging my stomach to stay under control, and grinned,
"yey, food." I said.

Though Maya exclaimed cheerfully about food she looked a bit shifty. I figured it was just having us all walk in on her and Joshua but there was an awfully long silence.
"So, who wanted what?" Doc asked to break the silence and food was accordingly doled out.
We all sat around, where ever we could find a spot and I found myself sitting next to Doc. I hadn't forgotten the feeling of his arms around my shoulders and as he lent over to whisper to me, "You know you're not going to get much food in your mouth if you're staring at me," I could feel myself again turning red. Sure enough when I looked down there was a small pile of rice that had been amaing towards wher my mouth should have been but wasn't...because I had been staring at Doc.
"Oops."

This was going to get uncomfortable. We'd have to talk about some time, but I couldn't really talk at the moment.
I had a mouth full of lemon chicken, all time favourite dish. No way was I opening my mouth on that.

I quickly looked down at my food and began concentrating on eating, not paying attention to anyone else in the room. I wasn't entirely sure what was going on.

I grinned at Charlotte and Doc, and looked quizzically at Avalon, wondering if she really could help me out with this whole totally insane deal...
I picked up my chopsticks, and the box of chicken and noodles, and took a mouthful. I frowned. some thing was wrong... I got up and went to the kitchen, fetching my famous cheese. I returned, plonked some cheese in with my noodles, and started again- much better.
Several people frowned at me in wonder. I looked down at the odd mixture of food, and winced,
"Oh." I said, "Erm... i just... i felt like it..."

I raised an eyeborw. "Maya, that's wierd."
"Hey, don't knock my taste!" She said defensively.
"Mai, I've known you for long enough to know that chinese and cheese isn't you're taste," I said gently. "What's gong on? Are you okay?"

"I just really felt like it. It tastes good- try!" I held out the pot to Charlotte.

I think my face said it all. Urghhh.I couldn't help but grimace at Maya's choice of food...not that i was particularly fussy but cheese? I shook my head. "Damn it Mai you've got strange taste." I murmured and i could see people nodding in agreement.
"New thing." She said shrugging. "Just really hits the spot."
"Strange strange cravings Mai."
