"Don't see why," Doc said. "You aren't exactly happy with your state, but your accepting. I don't see why you'd zap yourself pre-vamp," he shrugged, picking up another book. "Unless your in happire days right now, but, well... no offence, but you're a Slayer. They don't strike me as having happier days."

"I can't imagine anyone who is a part of this world is very happy. How I envy people who are ignorant to the going ons of the world they do not see."
She could remember watching them all the time wondering what it would be like to walk in a world of ignorance.

"Spells, demons, artifacts, curses," Mal listed automatically. Doc raised an eyebrow. "As you remember I have my own memory problems."
"I thought that was just the demon aspect that gave you acces to the Library," Doc pointed out.
"As you say, 'check every possibility'."

After a moment of watching the two, Annie looked at Doc, "Have I come into possession of any new items?"
Mal's list did not help any which was disappointing but she did not think it would help but it never hurt to ask.

"Well, it would not do us any good unless we also knew the manner in which it became cursed to begin with, you need to use different spells for different ways," she replied indifferently.

"Which l;eaves us back at square one," Doc said. "We need more brain power. Not something I thought I'd say in this situation. Maybe I should call Ka... er, Maya..."
"As long as she stays out of my head," Mal grumbled. "I'm going to make the store visible to anyone who can help," Doc looked at Mal curiously. "I wouldn't mind seeing what the reason for all this is. I'm... curious."
