"Really?" she poked through another book on the table before actually sitting down to look through it. A question was bothering her and she figured she'd ask, "Who turned me?"

:I don't know," Doc admitted. "I really don't know that much aout you. You don't like talking about your past, I don't remember you ever giving me a name. Although, there is one way to find out..." he said, trailing off as he looked at Mal.
"Oh, this one I'll do for free," he said with a grin. "She sound's like she'll be intersting enough. so a look up then?" he asked, looking at Anne.

"I suppose I should give you my name first, I'm Annie Amina Cross, born on all Hallows Eve, born in a small country side a league from London, my watcher was Caddie Sawn. Is that enough?" she asked looking at Mal.

"That should be perfect," Mal said, stepping back from them as his eyes took on a green glow. "Look up begin."
For Mal, the bookstore, and his two guests vanished. He was surrounded by a white landscape that was soon filled with book shelves. Millions of books of different shapes and sizes filled them, though none were marked as to what was in them. "First keyword: Annie Amina Cross. Date of birth: 31st of October, London, Watcher Caddie Swan," as each word left his mouth, shelves and books vanished as possibilities were cut down, unti finally one book floated in front of him with 'Person' written on it. "Bingo he said, taking the book...
In the real world, the glow faded from his eyes as he picked up a book from his counter that, to anyone else, was blank. To Mal, however, it now possessed all the knowledge on Annie Amina Cross, the Rogue Slayer. "My, oh my, you really are interesting."

"Oh yes," he said, flicking through the book with a gleam in his eyes. Oh so very interesting. no clue on who did this to you, unfortunately. However, as to who turned you..." he looked up at her. "Does a vampire by the name Martin ring any bells to you?"

"I am currently hunting his sire. The two of them have been on a murderous rampage for centuries and we crossed paths. Since we have been in a game of cat and mouse. Of course I'm not always the hunter, and apparently I'm the one who gets caught."

"So it would seem," Mal noddeed, taking a seat and reading through the book. Doc didn't even bother trying to read over his shoulder. He'd tried that bnefore, only to see a blank book. If he didn't know what Mal could do, he might consider him insane. Hell, maybe he was a bit. But then, aren't we all? Doc thought quietly.

"You got him," Mal informed her. "and his sire, if it means anything to you."
"Mal, you might want to limit anymore nfo," Doc said, looking up from his book. It held a slight possibility he hadn't considered. It wasn't easy, hell the caster would probably be dead, but... "And put 'time displaced mentally' as a slim with very little chance possibility."

"Alright, you've confused me further if there was any possibility," she said turning to Doc. It was a small comfort to know that she had won against them both but she lost a lot to achieve that victory.

He put the book in front of her. "It's a hell of a long shot, and probaby isn't possible without some major magic," he began. "But it's a possibility. Basically, someone took your mind and put it in present Rogue. Why, who knows. Weaken you by taking away a chunk of experiance and knowledge? Like I said, it's not a strong possibility, but I like taking any possibility on board."
