"Then I guess we wait," she shrugged. "Now were you going to get this sword or no?"

"Yeah," he said, looking around. "Yeah, I'll... I'll be right back. " Damn you, Raven, he thought as he headed out the back of hte store. Damn you...

"Alright," she looked around, very annoyed at the itching the bullet left but she didn't dare take it out right then and there. Too many variables.

He found Elias hunched in a corner. "hello, Elias."
"I'm sorry, i'm sorry," Elias said. "I didn't have a choice, they were going to kill me! I'm a coward you know that!"
"I know, man, I know," Doc said softly, helping hte terrified smith to his feet. "They're dead, but you might want to head underground for a while," Elias sighed.
"you're a dangerous man to know, Dane ((the fake name Elias knew him as))."
"yeah, I've noticed," he chuckled. "I'll see you around, Elias."
"Oh, one more thing," Doc caught the box Elias threw at him., "Debt paid," Doc chuckled, turning and walking out.
"Yeah, debt paid. "Seeya, you crazy cook."
"Fight well, Dane. Live free."

Rogue looked around the remains of the shop before looking up at Doc as he came out. "You good?"

"Yup," he said opening the box. He took a sharp intake of breath. "Yeah, i'm damn good..." Within was a sword that almost seemed to be carved from silver. The hilt was wrapped in black leather with a ruby set in the pomel. The blade was wrapped in a scabard lined in red velvet with gold inlay. He dropped the box, taking a hold of hilt and scabard and pulling hte blade free.
Up the flat of a blade was a phoenix with a flame trainling behin it that almost seemed to shimmer. the tip was slightly curved, "wow... Just... wow..."

"It's a blade, it's pretty but it's only a sword," she replied. "Now I am going to need your help getting this bullet out."

"Hm? Oh yeah," he shook his head, putting hte sword back in it's sheathe and clipping it to his belt. "Okay, let's take a look here. Not that I think i can do anything. Not sure my Talent has effect on dead flesh. Well, except maybe to make it deader," he shrugged, looking at the hole.

"Is this a safe place?" she asked, holding one of her daggers out to him. Removing her jacket she pointed to where the bullet was in her shoulder. "Feel for the bullet and use the knife to cut around it. If it would be easier than we can return to your apartment."

"As safe as it can be right now," he said, not pointing out the blood on his jacket. Sewers again, he thought as he began to cut around the lump where he could feel the bullet. Fun and games. He hated his life.

She grimaced at the feel of the blade, "Now angle the blade above the blade and angle out and the bullet should ease out. Using fingers would be useless." When the bullet plopped out she rolled her shoulder before putting her jacket on. "Thank you. It's easier with help than to do it yourself."

"Yeah, well..." he shrugged. "I'm used to do things a little less manually, believe it or not. So, home we go. through the sewers might be the best bet," he looked down at his shirt and jacket, where the sodlier wit the stab wound had bled all over him. "And I liked this jacket, too..."

"Alright, sewers," Boy she hated the sewers. "You need to be less messy. I was shot and didn't get much blood. Where's the nearest sewer entrance?"

"Behind the shop," he said. "And it's not my fault that guy was a bleeder."

She rolled her eyes. "Lets go then." She walked past Doc and towards the sewer entrance.
