Rogue looked around as she moved through the market, able to pass through the barrier that protected the market from people who did not know of it's existence. Most of the objects were items for strong black magics but since she had no interest in magic they held no purpose for her.
It was an understatement to say she was glad to be her normal self again. Being trapped as her human self brought back too many memories that she had long ago locked away. Kain. A memory she cherished and despised. Had she followed orders liked the council would have wanted (as well as her watcher) she would not have killed him. He would have lived a full life (given he was a demon hunter it was unlikely he would) and possibly have had children but things did not go that way.
Unconsciously her hand went to the necklace that was no longer there. These human instincts still lingered and it ate at her. Uncertainty... Being here left her at ease despite it's dangers for her, a hunter.

"You know... you keep reaching like that and I'm going to think we did something wrong," Doc asked from teh shadows. He hadn't been following her. Really. He just needed some stuff. A new sword. Maybe some darOkay, so he was following her. After the crap she'd gone through, you couldn't blame him.

She wasn't surprised to find him there, it seemed to be a habit for both of them.
"It was a habit I had when I was alive. I'm sure it'll go away soon enough." She straightened up, brushing off her... discomfort? She wasn't sure of the word but she didn't want to cause any concern.
"Old habits die hard." She gave him a weary grin.
"Why are you here anyways?" She asked, purposefully changing the topic.

He shrugged, hands in his pockets. Tell her the truth?
...Nah.
"Needed some thing," he said. "A sword, some darts, a batch of Cyndar blood," He smiled, giving a contented sigh. "Nothing better than watching the other guy cook from the inside out."

"Do you even know how to use a sword?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, relaxing visibly. She hadn't seen him use one yet. ((I don't think he's used one yet))

((No, not yet))
"Yes, I know how to use a sword," he said, rolling his eyes. "I'd buy sidearm, but I'm still trying to find someone that makes vamp-killers," he shrugged. He seemed to do that a lot. "It's a work in progress."

"I hope it fails," she replied simply. "I do not like the idea of someone dusting me in such a manner. Not everyone is very forgiving about 'good' vampires."

"Oh, don't be such a stick in the mud," he said waving her off. "It'll be personal use only. Besides, it would make your job a lot easier," he added. "I mean, you're probably a close up, hands on type, but even you have to admit, being able to take someone out from the building across the road woulc be handy."

"And someone couldn't do the same to me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "I like the idea so far of getting shot and surviving thank you." She had been shot a few times when they first met. Of course they were fighting then... It was fun. She smiled a bit at the memory. Certainly have come a long way since then.

"Yeah, okay, I guess you have some problems," he said grudngingly. "SOME of us can't take on anything much stronger than a fledge, even with my own... gifts. As you well know," he as well thought of their first fight. An interesting look at what he could and couldn't do. "Ergo, I like to have the odd advantage."

"You may wish what you want and I shall stick to what I wish," she replied. Sooner or later she had no doubt that the technology would one day exist but until then... "So then what kind of sword were you looking for?" she asked, looking around. "Couldn't you have just got a sword another way? Seems silly to try to get a sword here."

"Actually, there's a blacksmith that owes me a favour," he said. "Set up shop here after said favour. Don't think he expected me to show up," he grinned slightly. "Promised me the best sword in his store."

"Alright, well lets go..." she replied. She wasn't here for anything specific and she was curious about his many contacts. "For a man who is anti social you seem to know a lot of people."

"Well, a lot of my life has been doing favours," he admitted. "It was a way to make some money, get info. Do a favour for this guy, which leads to a favour from that guy. You know how it is. You make contacts, get advice, know who to go to when you need something. When they say 'I know a guy who knows a guy'? I'm the first guy."

"I am actually quite anti social, I avoid contact with other people, they don't tend to take to vampires,"
