"There are ways, you know," he said, looking at her lithe form appreciatively. "Bits and pieces, that sort of thing. But hey, you're choice."

She shrugged. "I don't know if I'll even be here long enough to make that feasible." If she wasn't going to be here long then the effort was a waste of time. She moved from place to place so often.

"Anyways, why are you here in LA? Just looking for information?" He did little to reveal himself. She could tell it was from years of doing just that. Being a vampire made her very much the same in that aspect. Never sharing a life with anyone unless it was another vampire which put her in an odd position of being stuck between good and evil.

It's the place to be," he answered with a shrug. "Hellmouth, down. Wolfram and Hart, down. there's a big power vacum with LA at the centre. You want soething done, this is the place to go."

"There certainly is a lot of dark energy here," she replied absent mindly. "Since you don't have a sleeping bag or anything you can take mine. I don't need it. With winter setting in you'll need it more then I. Besides it'll be dawn soon enough and if people see you carrying a sleeping bag through a grave yard, you'd get a lot of odd looks."

"Wouldn't be the first time," he said casually. "But if you're sure, I'm not going to say no."

"Then feel free," she said waving her arm dismissively. She picked up the sleeping bag and threw it to him. "You can take the one close to the door. Don't feel like getting a sun burn if someone opens the door later."

"Yeah, that'd put a damper on your day," Doc said. Of course, he thought, having an extra body between you and the door was not a bad thing. Pity he didn't think of that.

"Just a small one," she replied with a shrug, picking up her bag and laying it down on the coffin she slept on. "And don't worry," she replied as an after thought. "I wont molest you in your sleep." She placed her dagger next to her bag and left her sword leaning against the wall.

"I appreciate that," he said, spreading the sleeping bag out and placing a small stake and a dagger next to his head. "I really need some money," he muttered as he crawled into the sleeping bag.

"Then get a job," she replied as she sat atop the coffin. "There should be plenty of under the table work you could do to get some money." Of course she could do the same. She stretched her arms above her head before resting her head on her bag.

"Gun for hire perhaps?"

"It's an option," he said. ""I've toyed with it, sure. Never actually gotten a foot in the door though, so to speak. DSon't have the connections."

"Ah, I guess that would be a bit hard to get into," she admitted. "So where are you from?" she asked curiously.

"Around," he said. "Here and there. Originating in Australia. I seem to be talking a lot since I came to LA."

"Not usually a bad thing," she said, staring at the ceiling. Australia, huh. Interesting. She continued to lay there in silence for a few moments, listening to the rustling of the leaves as the wind blew at them from the trees.

"Depends on what you reveal," Doc said. "This may be a surprise, but I'm not always thte most popular guy at the party."
