Doc scowled at the short demon as he walked away, counting through his money, or what little was left. He needed a job, lifting artifacts from demons or lone Watchers wasn't netting as much as it used to, and he was running low on supplies. Stuff like food, nothing important, he thought sarcastically. Maybe that bounty hunter idea wasn't such a bad one after all. Well, if he wasn't already wanted for questioning on some breaking an entering, anyway.

It seemed she was running into him everywhere. It had only been a week since she last saw him. She didn't reveal herself to him and instead followed him. Tonight would actually be considered chilly but it didn't bother her. Tonight instead of her usual black pants and red top she had on a cloak which did not seem odd since many people here in the black market had on black cloaks. Most of her body was hidden from view and anyone looking would see she was mostly unarmed.
One did not bring obvious weapons to a black market. All of hers were hidden in various spots. She made no eye contact to those around her. She came here to hear whispers and did not want to be remembered. Eye contact would make her face known to someone. Some one bumped her shoulder and fluidly she continued along, not faultering a step. She grinned as she 'stalked' her prey.

He made his way through the crowd to one stand in particular, moving through the curtain quickly."
"Hey, old man, you in here?"
"Yes, yes, I'm here, what is it?" The bent, wrinkled, pale old man said, his voice like nails on a chalk board. Doc dropped a small bag on the counter.
"Found 'em," he said, the old man opened the bag, pulling out several small gems.
"Yes, yes, very nice indeed," he said, pulling a small box from the behind the counter. "As agreed."
"Nice doing business with you," Doc said, claiming the box and walking out without ceremony.

She rested against a wall while he went in, looking inconspicuous as she looked around the market today. It was certainly very busy but it didn't bother her too much. More people meant more cover and more faces for people to remember, or not as the case may be. She sauntered on behind him, curious to see what he was up too. He was something of a conundrum to her. He was so plain and easy to read but he also had a few surprises with him.
She could help but wonder... How good was he? Could he sense her behind him? Could he out take her in a fight? Would he hurt any watchers? So many questions, not that she would be able to get an answer from him that she could rely on.

Done with his business, Doc began heading for the exit of the black market, unaware he was being followed. His thoughts were held by the box and it' contents. Hopefully enough to get the information he was looking for. He hoped.

He certainly seemed oblivious. She wasn't sure she should be happy or not at that. He could easily be taken from behind. But he was only human... sorta. Even she could be snuck upon. She was not perfect. She brushed past the few and far between people who were entering the black market. She was very tempted to jump him. Not to hurt him but she felt a bit playful tonight. But she would give him another moment. If he made no change then she would jump him. She grinned at the thought, finding it funny.

As he left the Market, he stopped. Slowly he turned, arching an eyebrow. "I knew i shoud have been paying more attentions," he muttered, looking directly at her. "How long have you been following me?"

"Since you entered the market," she shrugged, taking the hood off her head with a weary grin. "You certainly let your guard down very easily." She walked towards him, boots clicking lightly on the ground. "You could have been jumped." Not that she was planning anything of that nature. She only grinned. "Who ever would have protected you?" Playful sarcasm thick in her voice.

"Well, aside from my own personal stalker, most people don't think I'm worth noticing," he said with a small grin. "And I think I can handle myself."

"I dunno..." she added coyly with a grin. "I don't think you could take me." She stepped on a lamp post and held on to it with only a hand. Her cloak now behind her and not cover her body. She watched him interestingly. "Stalker? Me? I'm sure you'd love that wouldn't you?"

"It'd be a change of pace," he said with a shrug. "At least you weren't actually out to kill me."

She stepped off the lamp post and stood in front of him. A few inches between them, looking him in the eyes, head tilted to the side. "So... what was it you got from the shop?" She watched his face for any reaction. Curiosity wasn't something she indulged in but he made her very curious. Dare she say that she was interested in his doings... Nah. Must be old age or loneliness setting in.

"Some stuff," he said, stepping back with a small grin, though the box was held tight under his arm. "Important stuff that whipped out most of my finances, but stuff."

She arched an eyebrow at his short explanation. "Stuff huh?" She wasn't quite satisfied with that answer. She certainly hoped for a little bit more of an answer. "Seems like a lot of stuff to give up just for some more 'stuff'." She swipped at it playfully, a grin on her face.

He jerked the box out of her reach protectively. "What can I say? I kinda needed it. Important, ya know?" I gave her an appraising look. "And what exactly were you doing here?"
