She shrugged. "At least people you can punch in the face. You can't punch a ghost."

"That would depend on your equipment," he said factly. "There are several mystical items that can make it possible to probably fight a spirit or etheral being. And then there's the theory of plutonic dispersal of psychokinetic energy, but that's neither here nor there."

"If you have none then they are kinda pointless," she replied. "Besides, one can use their wits and not might to get out of situations."

"True, true," he admitted. "Have to admit, i don't have anything of the like me on me at the moment, but I could always talk it to death... well, back to death, anyway."

"Right..." Interesting that someone she was interested in before was now getting on her nerves. Just her luck. Go out and do something nice and instead all you get is annoyance. Guess no good deed goes unpunished.
((gotta love that song. XD ))

(What is this, the Slayerettes version of 'Once More With Feeling?)
"Alright, I'm done," he said. "So, what exactly is the interest here?" He flashed her a grin, wondering if he put her off her game enough. "I mean, you have some questions, but what is is that's got you so curious? Just your nature or is it me?"

"I've been curious about things before yes," she replied as they entered the graveyard. "And no I'm not sure. I just find you interesting. I find many things interesting, usually not people. Objects, animals, and every once and a while people."

"So I'm just that much of a puzzle eh?" he asked. "Not the first time, i suppose. I tend to confuse people."

"It's not that," she replied. "People over complicate things." She sighed both internally and external. "It is what it is."

"And the world is a mess," Doc said, adding his own sigh to hers. "Life sucks and then you die. Some come back, poor bastards."

"I repeat, it is what it is. The world well change physically like all do until one day it dies," she replied. "People who look to the past and see a better life are blinded to how life is now. It doesn't not change in essence." She walked past the last tree on her way to the crypt.

"The advantage of a long life," Doc said. "Hindsight is always 20/20. It's a pity there's no perscription to correct foresight."

She shrugged, not caring either way. She pushed open the door to the crypt she called home for now. "Welcome," she said as she descended down the stairs of the crypt. The crypt was a family one. Several markings on the walls indicated who slept where. Of course they would stay sleeping and not wake up.

"Nice," he said, looking around. "It's roomy, anyway. So... which coffin's yours?" He threw her a cheeky smile as he said it.

"Very cliche," she replied. "Actually I sleep on a sleeping bag on top of the one over there." She pointed to the coffin furthest from the door. "I only recently came here so there isn't much. Beside the coffin was a single bag full of a change of clothes or two. With confident steps she pulled the string to let her robe fall and with a single hand she caught it, and draped it over the coffin she slept on top of. "I'd have a bed in here but I think someone might notice."
