Matt saw it. Dana was having a break down. Doc saw it to, even as Matt moved over to her.
"Dana!" He croaked. He really needed some water. Being tortured beyond human reason wasn't fun, and neither was screaming yourself hoarse. "Dana!"
"Dana," Matt wshipered, not moving to close. "Dana, Doc needs you here and now. Look at him."

No... Mommy? Daddy? The pit of her stomach churned. Every time he left... it was both a good thing and yet very bad. For a while there was a repreive from the torture but he always came back refreshed, ready for more.
"No more pain..."
Why was she doing this again? Of course they would have tortured him. Not like they would have had him shackled and held hostige for nothing... What they desired she had no clue but when she vlooked up at the marks and bruises they told her all she needed to know. Glancing over at the victims Rogue had just claimed and sent to the grave and over to the last of them and felt no pity for them. A part of herself shut down more focused on getting away from this place as quick as possible. Still shaking, the threat of completely breaking down slowly passing she looked at Matt, controlling her breathing.
"We need to get out of here."

"Atta girl," Doc croaked as Matt nodded.
"Alright, you'll need to break the chains," he told her. "I'm guessing our 'friends' have the keys."
"Yup," Doc confirmed. "And you wanna stay outta Roguey's way," Matt raised an eyebrow. "Sorry. Loopy. They used seda...sedi... drugs."
"Greeeeeaaaaaat."

Breaking chains, yes today has been turning out to be such a fun day. Getting on Matt's shoulders Dana reached out for the chains, now tall enough to be able to reach them. Yanking on the chains but recieving no give she tugged harder, hearing a slight creak. Before anyone who could have known what the creak was could possibly stop her she used all the slayer strength she could muster to yank at them only to have the whole beam come down which much to her surprise brought both her and Doc who had been previously hanging from the beam down.

"Ow..." Doc muttered from the floor. "I think I broke something... else."
"Well, you're down," Matt pointed out. Doc glared at him, though his eyes weren't really focused.
"If i could stand I'd hit you."
"Not the first someone's said that to me," Matt muttered, lifting doc gently to hook one arm over his shoulder. "Coimne on, Dana. Let's get him out of here."

Taking his other arm Dana looked over to Matt giving him a weary look.
"You really don't need to tell me twice."
The sooner they left this place the better. The door Rogue had slammed open served no purpose with getting them to Mals but the next set of doors opened and closed just fine so Dana focused on the door and once reopened the familiar sight of the library greeted them.

With Doc being safely removed from the room I could focus on the two bastards in front of me rather than trying to defend him and the others as well.
After fighting for a moment with the hired guard I stabbed him through the heart with my blade, pulling him in close, his last breath came out in what I could swear as a surprise. A burning feeling spread along my hand which surprised me since it burned like holy water. With drawing my blade I turned to the ring leader, his scared face meeting my own grinning. Pushing the pain to the back of my mind I enclosed upon the ring leader of this whole fiasco.

"And that's not at all weird," Matt muttered, looking around at the Library. Mal had already pulled a seat out for them to sit Doc down.
"Ha," Doc mumbled. "this is normal for me."
"Yeah, well..." Matt began, looking back at the door. "We should check on Rogue."

"Oh... probably should." In truth Dana did not want to go in there again. IT was the last thing she wanted to do at the moment but she knew it was the correct thing to do.

Pissed beyond all reasoning I came through the doorway with the ring leader beaten but in otherwise decent shape before shutting the door and reopening it and appearing in the black market.
I was going to leave a very clear message of what I thought about any future attempts on Doc and any one who didn't adhere to my final warning would die in a much slower manner.
Finding a tall building I took to the roof holding the leader of the half assed operation in a grip that was on the edge of being bone shattering.
"Alright, I don't think killing Raven was enough to stop any more attempts at reorganizing or massing up any sort of counter attack with any one associated with him. So this is my final warning. LA is my domain, no one is to organize any wrong doing or to make an attempt on the lives of those under my protection. To break this well ensure a long and very painful life before being sent to the deepest pits of hell."
In one fel swoop I took off the bastards head and grinned.
"Any questions?"

Matt had followed her out and watcher her little performance. And it's official: being turned gives you a flare of the overdramatic, he thought. Still, and effective means of passing on the message.

Walking back into the library I walked up to Doc, looking down to where he was sitting before assessing his injuries.
"Think you'll survive without going to the hospital?" From what he had told em about his life I didn't figure he'd be one for going to a hospital unless it was life or death but from what I could assess of his injuries they were not life threatening in the least but what I could tell was only on the surface, there was always the chance that there had been something that had been unnoticed that could be harming him currently.

"Yeah, I'll be good," Doc said, whincing slightly as he tried to move into a more comfortable position. "I have knock out darts. I always wake up afterwards in pain."
