Cutting down another guard, his blood painting the wall a nice dark red, I grinned, enjoying the feeling of the kill.
"Have you no pride? Come and face me yourself!"
I doubted it would help but I wanted to get more attention on me and not on Dana or Matt.

The tiger padded through the hall, trying to get some sense of where Doc was in the building.
The first door he'd chacked had contained a single man gathering weapons. Matt had moved fast, pinning him to the ground with a growl.

Moving around to his side I held the butt of the crossbow in a ready to strike position.
"Where is Doc or you'll wake up on the ghostly plane. Scream and you'll end up there as well."

Matt did the closest tiger approximation to a grin, bearing his teeth as he licked his lips lazily.

"Next floor up, dunno which room though."
I faked a strike with the rifle and the guy flinched. "Thats all I know I swear!"
"Alright, I'll take it." This time I struck him for real, knocking out.
"Lets get Doc and get out of here quick."

Matt nodded, bounding up the stairs, stopping at the first room. He shifted back to human as he waited for Dana. they had several options here, one would make things very difficult.

"You know in the movies people die when they split up." I said as soon as I had caught up to Matt. Taking stairs two at a time was cheating since he was much faster in that form but it wasn't the time for any jokes or antics. "It's a good thing we aren't in the movies, better not alert whoever is holding Doc that we're the search party."
With that said I opened the nearest door only to find nothing but the door across the hall had a few people in it, with one person close to the door. I butted the first guy with the back of my crossbow, knocking him on his ass.

Matthew leapt through door, pinning one guy down and growling loudly at the other, almost daring him to move. the guy, wisely enough, froze.

"Matthew, leave him."
Upon entering the room I passed the slayer Dana and looked down at the current captive with a small smile.
"I seem to be missing someone very dear and you just so happen to pose a threat to getting him out alive. Sorry."
Without blinking I placed the tip of my chosen blade to rest on the guys throat. Between the fact that a vampire had a blade to this throat and there was a massive were-tiger on him even I could not blame the man for the natural body reaction.
"Thats what I thought. Not a screamer. Good, you shall live for today. I do recommend not getting mixed up with this crowd again."
Turning away I began leaving the room only to look back to Matt and Dana.
"You don't need to follow me any further. Thank you."
He was close, I could smell him. The leader of this would pay dearly and the punishment I had in mind was not going to be as horrible as he deserved.

Matt shifted back to his human form, shaking his head as he looked at Dana. "The thought of a last resort trap not entering her mind, of curse," he muttered, gesturing towards Rogue. "Shall we? Someone has to keep her from getting herself killed."

"She is very one tracked minded isn't she?" Dana muttered in agreement, following behind the vampire.
If only we were as invulnerable as she thinks she is.

Even though I heard those two muttering I did not give it any mind. They were right, I had no considered a trap. Well I had but I didn't figure it would be anything I couldn't handle. Probably not the mind set I needed to be in but at the moment wrath had a hold of me and as petty as it was I would not let them regret it for long.
Stopping in front of a door I tilted my head listening to the movements inside. I could smell Doc, he had come this way but was he behind this door or behind another? The scent here was stronger than any other place in the building so without hesitation I slammed the door open.

Matt looked through the now open (and hingeless) door and nearly emptied his lunch on the floor.
Doc was suspended from the cieling by chains, stripped down to shorts and covered with various bruises, cuts and marks. As he swung to one side, Matt could definately see the edges of whip marks on his sides.
"Oh, hey guys," Doc said, his voice hoarse. Matt noticed at least two missing teeth and dried blood around his lips. "Rogue. Sorry I didn't show up, I was, ah... kinda tied up."

Normally I probably would have commented on the very lame attempt at a joke and instead turned towards the closet target and sliced him down, turning sharply knocking the other guard flat on his ass before running my blade through his throat.
Three targets; a man half dressed breathing slightly elevated, likely the one who was administering the torture. The second coated in a modern armor likely a hired guard of some sort, weapon, slight threat. And the last was wearing a tux, obviously the ring leader and the one who was going to get a very public execution in the black market.
With one swift movement I shot a dagger into the torturer's shoulder blade, earning me a delightful short scream of both pain and surprise and the scent of this mans blood filled the air overpowering the smell of Doc's own.
"Get him out of here now. Take him to Mal's and I shall follow along shortly."
There was little doubt in my mind that they could handle getting Doc out of here. Locking eyes on the only threat between me and my prey I sized him up, and from the looks of it could provide some sort of challenge but the small thread of caution in my mind told me to be careful, they likely knew a vampire would come after them and would likely be prepared. Paranoia courtesy of Doc no doubt compelled me to check the room for booby traps only to find no obvious signs.
No throwing knives left, only a sword, what a time to be out of smaller weapons.

Oh sure NOW she bothers to think! The thought was shortly lived when she realized the scene unfolded before her.
Mentally shaking her head Dana ignored the smells and thoughts running through her mind, her mouth going dry as she hesitated entering the room. Bad idea! Every part of her wanted to run, bolt for the door, escape from this place.
Why?
No...
Images began flooding her mind. Every time he left it offered little reprieve and no matter how hard she screamed no one could help her.
"Nonononononono..." Shaking her head she pressed her hands to her hears, shutting her eyes as she slowly backed away against the wall.
