My body needed to exercise, it felt restless and unused. The danger room wasn't doing it like a real flesh and blood hunt and kill. My senses were no where near as powerful as they had been before but these senses that I had known for centuries seemed so alien to me. I decided tonight I would go without my sword. As much as I loved it I wanted to use my strength, have a challenge. So a dagger was my back up weapon. I wasn't as skilled with it as I was my sword but that was a given since it was my weapon of choice.

"Probably not but you know how I get when I'm restless, my hunting instinct kicks in and I have to do something. I felt like making this hunt a challenge," I avoided the subject of not being at my best. That hurt my pride far too much. I longed for my shadow powers back. I just feared the cost it would take to get it.

My smile faultered, " I haven't forgotten." Should I tell him my suspiscions? The dreams I've been having? Might be best to wait and tell him when I knew more about what was going on with me.

"I seem to be doing that a lot recently," I admitted. "I hate not having my powers, I know you don't remember them but they gave me strength but they also helped me in other ways I didn't realize until recently."
