"I would if that meant they would live a better life. I would fight for them but if I realized it was truly better for their safety I would," I reflected. In a way I had, I had kept Doc away when he was a danger to them.

I watched him quietly before giving a small smile. "But you do care for her and see her as a mother of sorts. You goto her when you need something and she tries to give it to you. She still looks out for you even today but you don't see it."
