I pulled her into a tight hug. "I repeat, you're going nowhere. And we aren't trying this til we get some form of proof," I heaved a long sigh. "No choice. Guess I gotta go see 'mummy dear'."

I hugged him back, nuzzling him slightly. I decided to be less guarded about open affections, it was one of the things that opened quickly after I had gotten my Doc back from the vampire side of him. "If you think it's best, but I'm going as well."
