I grinned at it all. Aralin had appeared beside me, firing off more arrows than I tried to count. She seemed to be enjoying it: hating demons was apparently a large motivation for killing large numbers of them. She was even grinning at me, and for a second I worried that her time with me had turned her completely mad. But then she looked at me, and I could read the sanity in her eyes. Still, it was slightly unnerving how many arrows she could fire off.
Drawing the sword at my side, I lept off the building and into the fray. They could see me now, and I wouldn't let them go without a worthy final sight. Putting on my vamp face, I lashed out with the sword.
[Yup, great little activity for the night,] I sent nonchalantly to Maya. I couldn't see her, but I knew she was smirking and cutting off a few demon heads while doing so.

[Is it wrong that this is fun?] I asked Del. Spinning, jumping, kicking, punching, slicing, i didn't even need to use magic as i simply let go physically, my body moving with natural slayer fluidity.
Suddenly there was a flash of bright white light, and Ate appeared,
"You bellowed?" She said with a grin.
"Yep." I replied, not pausing. "Thought you might like to help out with the demon sitch."
"Hmm... lots aren't there?" She said, looking around, "Why are they here?"
A demon rushed at her, sword raised and yelling. She frowned, and turned to him, "Cant you see we're having a conversation here?" She snapped. The demon looked bewildered, but nodded slowly, and stood there, sword raised, patiently waiting. "Yes." Ate said, "So, what do they want?"
"World domination, something like that." I replied. "Basically something along the lines of kill anything that moves."
"Oh... thats not very nice."
"No."
"Ok, so we kill them first then." She smiled, "Okey-dokey." She turned back to the demon, saying, "DOne now." And looking him right in the eye. The demon faltered, and gulped. Ate raised one eyerbrow in silent warning, and the demon fled, only to be impailed on Dels sword as he passed her. Ate smiled, and set to work.
I just shook my head, and got back to slicng and dicing.

By now, every single demon had their sight returned to them...
I continued to slice through them, my left arm, in the form of an axe, in my right arm. Garroc continued to plummel them, they TRIED to stab, slash, clobber and burn him. All their attempts failed, he was up like nothing had happened, still picking up demons and throwing them around everywhere.
Toraan threw dark magic at them, immobilising them, then sucking out their life essence, and powers like a leech, strengthening him...

I tried to talk to Jessy but she was having to much fun killing demons. So instead I told Maya.
[Mai, I think that shadow dude, you know, Boney's brother, well he seems to be getting stronger. Is that bad?]

I killed demons right and left, they seemed intent on killing me and Killian...I guess they knew that we were half and half. But then I noticed that Zeroc's brother was killing a lot more demons than me...and somehow, he was getting stronger.
"This can't be good." I muttered to myself.

[For the moment,] i told the doubtful minds around me, [he's on our side, and helping us with this serious demon eppidemic. So i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.]

FAbulous, these demons possesed immense physical strength, but mentally there was practically nothing. they were ideal for my powers, in fact there was potential for big time fun. Selecting a small cluster I turned invisible and soared gracefully into the air above their heads performing a little dance as i went. AS each foot delicately touched them I began gain control. Beginningwith the obvious I started my manipulation, watching gleefully as they turned that incredible strength on their commrades who stood little chance. One demon who had been charging at full speed towards Killian suddenly stopped and started bashing himself over the head with the flat of his sword another decided to turn himself into a supernatural pin cushion.

I was fighting, my sword hacking at demons, when a demon charged at me with a sword, looking very angry. I braced myself, but then all of a sudden, the demon stopped, looked confused, then whacked himself on the head with the flat part of his sword.
"Cool." I muttered, before killing him.

"Thats ma girl." I murmured with a grin as the group of demons turned on their comrades... and themselves. Most of the slayerette group were now in the middle of the fray, and if i wasn't much mistaken, they were enjoying it. Goddess our lives are wierd. At least i have the slayer, built for it, excuse. Speaking of which- I was getting starving and had suddenly noticed the serious lack of Joshua... and i honestly couldnt work out how that was related...

I stareted to throw axes, I was having a great time!!'It's wierd though, usually I'll get bashed before being able to defeat demons, this was different, it has been ages since I was able to beat up a whole lot of demons without being bashed myself!!' I thought suspiciously
Oh well, thought to soon... a demon came up behind me and picked me up, and threw me towards a brick wall, 'Oh, well, this is how it usually is anyway,' I thought, 'Just like old times!'
I managed to defeat the demon very easily, there weren't many left, and the big armoured dude was managing them very well, so was Ate.
I heard a large footstep in the background, I turned to see a giant demon, about 3 times my size, 'well,' I thought, 'a demon 3 times my size, probably 3 times my strength, a big chance of getting bruised, what am I waiting for!' I jumped towards it, swords at the ready.

Toraan continued to suck the life essence out of the demons, strengthening him...
Garroc continued to trash demons around... their futile attempts to hurt him, failing...
My Anubites continued to fight, still many of them left...
And I continued with my bone axe, slicing through demons...
(((Wouldn't it be cool if we all fought enemies with the EXACT same powers and EXACT same skill levels as us... mabye I should make something like that, what do you peoples think?)))

It was light when I opened my eyes. I had not expected it, and I shut my eyes again quickly. I opened them again and tried to get my eyes used to the brightness. The orange flame that faced me on the wall. I sat up, and realised with shock where I was. I was in a cage. Solid black metal bars surrounded me, and I clasped my hands around trying to break them. They wouldn't break, but I kept trying anyway.
