I closed my eyes and focused on me and Maya's energy. I looked at Maya and we both nodded as streams of light erupted from our hands and onto our unsuspecting and screaming victims

The entire area was cleared of demons and instead decorated in various coloured bloods.
"Oh lovely." Joshua commented. Nicki and i grinned, adn bumped fists.
"That should at least buy us some time." I said.

I nodded and looked at Doc and Joshua
'Now where the hell would you be without us beautiful and talented girls?' I looked around at the pretty colours on the floor 'Wow... Who knew there were this many different colours of blood?'

'Yeah. And I wanna swing by and grab my glowing cube for further inspection... Be two ticks'
Guarding myself with my magic I ran like lightning to my wall and checked to see if the vamps were still there. To my surprise there was only the cube left and I swooped in to grab it before rushing back as fast as I could, dropping it into Maya's hands as I caught my breath
'Now where to?'

"Huh- glowing cube." I said, frowning at it. "Wiggy." I cast a look around and thought, "I dont know... we could go to the dojo again? Or the training centre... but unless i'm hugely mistaken theres a lot of demons that frequent that place. Or i guess we could go to one of our places... I guess it depends which would be more secure. What d'you think, guys?" I asked the other three.

"Women," I roll my eyes as the four of us start walking down the street. "And they complain about *US* and violence?!"
Doc just snorted and nodded in agreement.
When the two witches turned to glare at us, I insert, "Actually, the Training Center is just under two blocks that way," pointing down a side street, "while if I recall correctly, the Dojo is at least a couple of miles that way," pointing straight ahead. "And for the 411, no demon, except 'Good' half-demons and souled vampires can even step on the premises of the Training Center. Also, it's spelled for non-demon violence, so even if there are demons waiting for us or already in there, we'll be safe from them."
"Another thing is the weapons," Doc added. "Best I got at the dojo is a couple hundred stakes, MAYBE, swords and training equipment. I've checked out the basement levels of the Training Center. They got some nice toys down there. Stuff that could make things a little easier."
"So what are you suggesting?" Maya asked Doc, completely ignoring me.
"I think he's suggesting we go to the Training Center to pick up more weapons before going all the way to the Dojo," I answer her, ignoring her glare for the moment.
"Another thing is the Library and the meditation rooms at the Training Center can be used to recharge our spellcasters, and we can hopefully find some reference to that thing," I point at the still softly glowing cube.
"And my last point," I take a breath, "there MAY be a chance that the Owner may have some clue or even know exactly what's going on. At the very least he can give us some weapons and a place to rest."
"Nobody's even *seen* this guy and you want to trust him?" Maya exploded.
"It's better than fighting our way across half the city just to hole up in a place with minimal weaponry, no research materials to help us figure out what's going on, and all because it's familiar!" I shout right back.
Maya squinted her eyes and screamed back, "You are an arrogant little know-it-all pissant, I hope you know that!"
"And you are an annoying goddess-complex muscle-bound *WITCH* who thinks she can do anything just because of who her teachers were!"
"Annoying! I'm not the one who brought in an assassin so evil that we had more trouble with than the Big Bad you brought him here for!"
"That wasn't annoying, that was stupid!"
"You said it first, stooopid!"
"What was stupid was goading him into forcing you to stake yourself!"
"Jerk!
"Annoying wench!"
"Bastard!"
"Faith-wannabe!"
"Big doodoo head!"
"Witch!"
Before either of us knew it, we were in a heated kiss.
(((Let me know if I've go too far. This is only a plot-development for a story. And I IN *NO* WAY mean it as suggestive to *ANY*THING!!!!! Ask Doc, he knows me.)))

((I SO knew you were gonna do that!!! Humph. Oh well... guess it'll make things interesting... *grins*))
...And the next thing Joshua knew he was flying painfully into a nearby wall.
"Get the hell off me!" I yelled, wiping my mouth on my hand, "Urgh, gross!"
"What!?" He cried, "You kissed me!"
"I DID NOT!" I bellowed, "WHy in hell would i do something as vile and distgusting, and GROSS as that! You kissed me! Urgh! I cant believe you kissed me!!"
"Fine..." He snapped, "But even if thats so, you kissed back." He declared triumphantly.
"No i didnt!" I cried, my voice getting rather high pitched, "I cant believe you... you...." I could feel magic bubbling up inside me with the anger...
Nicki was giggling hysterically, leaning against the wall for support, but Doc was now between us,
"Whoa, Mai," He said, "Calm down, would ya?"
"Me calm down? Tell that to mister horny... man slut..."
"Hey, all i was..."
"Shut up!" Doc yelled, silencing us both. "Damn it, you two! We have a city full of demons after us and you're bickering about a kiss?"
"A kiss HE initiated totally unfa..."
"Mai- shut it." Doc snapped. "Lets get to the training centre, ok?" He grabbed Josh and pushed him in front, while i glared at them both. Nicki was following on, still giggling.
"Oh shut up." I murmured, trailing along behind with my arms crossed angrily.

As they strolled into the Training Centre I jumped down from the ceilling where i had been sitting on a large bit of wood that ran down the middle section of the Centre. "How the hell did you get up there?" Asked Doc. "I climbed." I replied, "What was that light thing back there?" Oh just the girls having some fun." anwsered Doc,
"That was fun?"
"Yeah,"
"Then a party must be pretty interesting while those two around."
