[Joshua]

"YEAH? Well I hate you!" I shout back, too into my more intense emotions to actually be thinking.

"I HATE YOU MORE!" Maya snapped back, getting up in my face.

"Oh that's mature," I retort, adding, "Amatuer."

"Weakling!"

"Wannabe!"

"Freeloader!"

"Bitch!"

"Bastard!"

"FAITH CLONE!!"

"LAZY ASS!!"

Growling now, "TRUANT!"

Growling right back, "NERD!"

"CHEERLEADER!!"

Her eyes went wide at that.

[Maya]

"I was NEVER a cheerleader!" I yelled, my tone getting higher and higher. "You're more bloody likely to be a cheerleader than me... pretty boy!"
"You think i'm pretty?" He teased
"ITS AN INSULT, IDIOT!" I screamed.
"STOP calling me an idiot!"
"WHY!? You ARE one!"
"You're pathetic, you know that!?"
"ME? Me pathetic!? You're like a two year old trapped in a students body!"
"Two? A minute ago i was five!" He snapped
"Well you're a bloody time wizard, arent you!" I cried.
"We have work to do, and you keep starting these moronic arguements!" He accused,
"YOU started it, not me!"
"Did not!"
"Did TOO!"
"I did NOT, you stupid kid!"
"Kid? KID!? You dont bloody look at me like im a kid!"
"Why would you care how i look at you, Miss High and mighty!?"
"Oh shut the hell up!"
"Stop telling me to shut up!" He cried, but then frowned when he realised i'd snapped, but not yelled that time. I felt incredibly tired, but isn't it funny how a screaming match can act like a bucket of cold water?
"Just shut up and kiss me already." I said quietly, looking up into his eyes...

[Joshua]

I didn't answer. I just shut the hell up and kissed her.

At first I expected it to be like our last encounter, a passionate, but quick, tongue-in-cheek and amazing kiss. It wasn't.

It was better.

And it didn't stop with one kiss, but quickly moved on for two, three, four more!

Finally, oxygen became an issue and we backed off, gasping to regain our breath. Then fell back against each other kissing again.

When we broke apart the next time, my sluggish brain had finally come up with something to say. "Uh, weren't we supposed to be making up or something?"

Maya shrugged and given who her teachers were, I wasn't as surprised by her response as I should have been. "Yeah maybe, but I'd much rather make out. You?"

"Yeah," I gave a quick nod of agreement and we resumed kissing. Very shortly after we managed to find the Library broom closet where everyone else found us after they came back looking for us. Hair messed up, but clothes most definitely intact.

[TPot]

"MY EYES HAVE BEEN SOILED!!!!!" I screamed as I ran off down a hallway "MAKE THEM STOP!! MAKE THEM STOP!!!"

[Nicola Next]

After hearing the commotion we followed TPot taking a break from looking for Mai and Joshua and unfortunately stumbling on them. In a broom closet. Very much making up and out.

I grinned as they realised they had an audience and I smiled smugly at Maya

'And who said you had a thing for Joshua? Who was it? Was it... Me? Why I think you're right! I'm not so stupid anymore am I?'

Tucker nodded a little, while Doc just stared. I'm guessing he weren't expecting that one

[TPot]

"Have they stoped yet?" I asked as I walked back, I looked and ran off screaming again.

[Maya]

For a moment, no words would come out. I patted my hair down, and cleared my throat,
"Hm, yeah, erm... so, erm... not the right door then."
Nicki gave me a whithering look. "What? We were looking for the, erm... where were we going?"
Nicki grinned, shook her head, and walked off again, the others following. "Convincing?" I asked Joshua.
"Not in the slightest." He replied.
"Bugger."
"Why?" He asked. I sighed, and rolled my eyes,
"You know why... Its you... and me."
"Well im not complaining." He said, grinning. I considered getting angry, but when he was looking at me like that... i just couldn't.
"You're a dumbass." I said affectionately.
"And proud of it." He replied, before we kissed again.

[TPot]

I walked back over, "DEAR GOD!!! WILL YOU TWO STOP THAT, YOUR FREAKING ME OUT!!!!!" I ran off screaming. Joshua watched me go and said, "he realy is shocked isn't he?"

[Maya]

"Yeah." I said, watching as Tpot ran headlong down the corridor. "Dunno why really... i have more reason to be freaked out then him." i grinned.

[Joshua]

"Yeah well, now that we've got the kissing out of the way..." she stared at me expectantly. "Wanna go out some time?" I asked sheepishly, blushing slightly.

She stared, blank-faced, long enough for a tendril of panic to slip into my mind, before her face broke out in a huge grin and she nodded. "Sure, why not. But first we've got an apocalypse to figure out and stop."

Have you ever gotten a shot of Adrenaline? Not normally, but like a doctor's needle straight to the heart. It's a kick in the pants, that's for sure. This . . . this feeling when Maya said yes and gave me that coy little smile of hers . . . adrenaline-schmenaline! I'd do ANYTHING to get her to smile at me like that again.

"Right!" I shouted, jumping up from my seat on the floor, as Maya was already standing, "Time to get serious. First of the matter, wiping out every demon in the city. Shouldn't take us more than a couple of days. Then, figuring out how to bring all the humans back. Then Maya and me can go on a date." Setting my priorities.

Maya giggled with Nicki a short distance away, but Maya stopped and looked at me. Then, in the sexiest voice I have ever heard, she told me, "You can call me Mai, Joshua."

What did I tell you? Kick. In. The. Pants! ;D ;D ;D

[Maya]

I laughed- i dont think i've ever seen someone grin that widely, Plus the mental yelling was almost deafening... i had known that he liked me, but whoa.
I grinned at Nicki, who was thinking (very loudly) [told you so, told you so]
"Ok," I said ignoring her, "Apocalypse- Lets get this show on the road."

[Nicola Next]

I grinned as my mental teasing of Mai continued and I clapped my hands

'Cube. It was being protected by a little circle of demons but when I went back they were gone, either we blew them up or they ran for it' I paused 'I wanna blow more demons up to find out... I wanna fight something, I'm getting totally bored sitting or standing. I want kicking!'

[Maya]

"I gotta agree with you there." I said, "And hey, wasn't that the first thing on Josh's list anyway?" I grinned widely.

[Nicola Next]

I rolled my eyes

'Yes I am perfectly aware it was number one on your love bunnys list. I was stating my need to fight something'

[Maya]

"Ok, i'm gonna pretend you didn't just say that." I said, blushing furiously, which annoyed me hugely. "I've had enough of bunnies recently." I added.
