"But...but... we made out once. And we dont even know when we're gonna go out, so... you're not allowed to start the teasing yet." I pouted. Somehow i got the feeling this wouldn't change a damn thing.

I pouted for a second
'Okay. I won't tease until you've had your first date, cause I'm feeling nice'

"Hey, cool! I found toys!" I told them all as I walked around to the main table in the center of the room with an armload full of weapons.
Dumping the guns from my left arm at the table, I more carefully set down the bladed weapons, ranging from swords and daggars to axes and bladed polearms. (See spears, glaives, javelins, and scythes.)
With a wicked grin, Doc started handling several of the guns like the profressional that he was while Nicki and Maya came up and started putting daggers into places I would dream about that night. On Mai, not Nicki!!
I took a glaive for myself, two shortswords and fit several daggers around my own personage before turning around and seeing Tucker standing there, jaw agape, and looking a little afraid.
""Uh...Tuck, maybe you'd better stay here. Hold down the fort you know," I offered him a way out of going out into the demon-infested city again.
He just numbly nodded his head and quietly sat down.
"And maybe you should stay with him, just in case," I whispered to Ate, who silently agreed, but more because I flashed my amulet at her as I did, and the result was the same as an FBI Special Agent flashing his badge to a rent-a-cop.
"Everybody ready?" I ask a couple minutes later. All were in agreement and we quickly took the lift down and even more quickly exited out into the setting sun city. Night was upon us, and we . . . we were upon it.

((rewindin a tiny bit to add something)) I slapped Joshua round the back of his head as we gathered weapons, and he yelped, "What was that for!?" "Just cos we made with the kissy doesnt mean i need to hear your dodgy thoughts." I snapped. Nicki looked very interested, but said nothing. Joshua just nodded and tried to look innocent.... actually he did look kinda cute... d**n it! How the hell was that working on me!? Stupid Joshua, i thought in irritation... apparently a little loudly, because Nicki grinned.
........ ((and back to where we were at the end of Josh's post!))
We walked out of the building, and i could actually feel demons everywhere. I knew the others could feel them too, and as we stood there (in a classical good guys, weapons at the ready pose), we saw them begin to filter out of hiding places- they had been waiting for us to reappear. "You guys ready for demon curry?" I asked the others, "Cos it's time to slice 'n' dice."
((*grins* yey, fight time- fun! ... and thats mildly disturbing... oh well!))

Holding my bladed pole-arm at the ready I shared a familiar grin with Doc, who returned it and turned the safeties off his guns. I turned and glanced at Mai, who glanced at me, and then gave me a coy little grin that made me blush. I tried to return it, adding an emotional response of sexual attraction, and stared fascinated as she blushed in return.
I turned the rest of my attention to the demons boldly rushing us, quite possibly the last humans in the city. I scowled as that thought rolled around in my head a few times until I had built up quite a nice pit of anger.
"You set'em up," I said to Doc.
"And I'll mow them down," Mai finished with a savage grin. I smirked and created a time bubble around the entire group.
"Wait for it," I said to their looks. The demons were almost upon us.
Mai glared at me, getting antsy. She's so *cute* when she's antsy
"Wait for it," I said again. The demons had reached the edges of my forcefield and started to pound on it. It gave me a minor headache, but nothing too nasty.
"Wait for it," I said a final time as everybody, save Mai and Doc, looked nervously at the demons piling up.
When it looked like the barrier was almost completely covered, I grinned savagely and shouted, while exerting my energy at the same time, "NOW!"
The Time Bubble exploded outward, killing the closest with the explosive energy, and throwing the rest all over the block, some were even killed on impact. The rest quickly filled in the gaps and we all had plenty to do.

[Nice trick] i said in Joshua's mind, blasting a load of vamps with a wave of magic, and staking another at the same time. I glanced at Nicki, and in seconds we built a combined attack that took out all the demons within a 10 metre radius, evening the score. [keep up] i teased Josh.

<If you insist> I thought back, and then did a trick that I had never done before, in front of them anyway.
Setting up a time paradox is very dangerous, but if you know what you're doing, it is a *VERY* useful skill. In the blink of an eye, all of a sudden there were over one hundred *me's*, each taking on a different number of demons, enemies, and even helping a couple of the others out of jams.
From my point of view, continuously jumping back in time so there would be that many of me within the same minute to two minute time frame, I was fighting for well over two hours, but I paced myself so I wouldn't wear out anytime soon.
By the time I ended the paradox there were no more demons in the immediate area, and those that were, were running away and being fired by Nicki and Mai's long range attacks.
"How's *that* for keeping up?" I challenged, only slightly out of breath.

"Cheater." I pouted. I rested my hands on my hips and looked round at the fleeing demons, "Since when did demons get so damned pathetic?" I asked the world in general. "Come on." I grinned, "I'm not even close to tired." And i started running after them.

I shared a look with Doc, slowly getting my breathing back under control. "Shouldn't one of us stop her?" I asked. "You know, the whole 'don't go off on your own' thing?"
"You wanna go after her?" he asked.
Instantly I was back at 100%. "Yes please," I begged.
He snorted a chuckle but just shrugged and nodded his head. With a small whoop I slowed down time and sped up my passage in it, and chased after Mai.

"Hey Doc, I bet you $50 I can kill more than you," I said as I ran off, throwing fireballs at every poor vamp or demon that showed it's face.

"TPot, yesterday, you wouldn't get close," I said, mowing down a crowd of demons, emptying my guns. "As of today," I pulled the Soul Saber from it's sheathe, lengthening it to a katana. I grinned as twin souls merged and demons died screaming. "Not a bloody hope!"
"Holy shit," I heard Joshua mutter.
"Keep up, clock boy," I shouted. "We need you and Maya alive, not still waiting at the TC."

'Nuts? I don't say nuts' I thought to myself as I kept up with Mai and killed all of her leftovers. Hey, I may have just fallen for the Slayer, but that doesn't mean I was born yesterday! Slayer's need room to move, and more importantly, a lot of demons to take their frustrations out on without any distractions. So I just mopped up after her and took out any threats on her blindside.
Doc was going down a side street parallel to us with Tpot. Quickly I cast a scrying spell inside of a time bubble, creating a sort of crystal ball effect that allowed me to see the entire city, and the location of demons, and us.
So my heart nearly stopped, as I did, when I saw that there were more humans in the city despite us that were running around killing everything that moved.
"MAI!!" I screamed.
She ran over, and thankfully didn't ask any questions when I showed her what I was seeing. Instead her eyes widened for a brief second, her jaw clenched and she grabbed me by the shoulder before jumping straight up, magically aided, over the buildings seperating us from Doc and Tpot.
Doc took one look, nodded and I could see already had a plan formed between the two of *hims*.
"Mai," he asked, "can you cast a scrying spell like this? Find any humans in the city?" She nodded.
"Go with Tpot, start picking up the small stragglers. Joshua and I'll go to the large groupings here, and here," he pointed in the time bubble/crystal ball, "And as soon as you've got everybody else back at the Training Center, come join us if we haven't finished by then."
Maya looked like she was about to argue, but one look at the expression on Doc's face and she just shut her mouth and nodded.
"Here," I offered her and Tpot a pair of familiar looking watches. "Without me you'll need all the advantage you can get."
She smiled darkly as she held up the watch and then put it on her arm. "Thanks clockman," she said right before drawing me in for a very, very, very nice kiss.
"You're welcome," I gasp when she lets me go. Then Doc snaps me out of it and we head off for rescue operations. Hopefully these people could hold out long enough, seeing as there were only about ten to twenty in the 'big groups' we were going after and at most one to two in the people Mai and Tpot were going after.

There was a huge flash of blinding light and I had arrived, my full glorious self, hair streaming down my back in full dark silky waves, eyes glowing gold and my white dress shimmering resplendently. In my right hand I was gripping a large powerful black panther by the scruff of the neck and in my left an unconcious Tucker. I smiled sweetly and addressed them in my most awesome voice. "these belong to anybody?" raising one eyebrow, I surveyed the landscape then keeping my voice low and melodious spoke again, " who left the human alone?"
