I fell with a thud to the ground. I was..well..home. Or was I? Where were all the slaves, where was Karen's familiar presence? Where was Doc and the dungeon the slayer was kept in? And where was Rory?
I had been visiting the hell dimension for a bit of fun torture when all of a sudden I'm pulled out again by a shapeshifter and I'm back here.
Banishing the thoughts of confusion, I shifted into my usual wolf form, hoping to find a human to eat, when suddenly someone walked down the street towards me..it was..er....me!

"I'm detecting a wolf accosting Pepper and Jessy."
"They can handle one wolf."
"All of my scanners are telling me that the wolf is also Pepper."
"What?" I was on my feet in an instant. "Are you sure it's not a sensor ghost?"
"Positive."
"Well, shit," I muttered. "I'm on my way. Call...someone, i don't know. This sounds like some serious nth level shit."

I was wondering the streets of this bizarre town, trying to familiarise myself with the world in which i truly belonged, when i saw two girls on the other side of the street... Pepper? yes, that was her name- i had met her in the spot. I smiled, and started towards them, and thats when i saw the wolf, and all my senses went wild.
Uh-oh.

I had been wandering aimlessly for at least half an hour when I suddenly felt unsettled. Probably just something worth killing.
Nope.
I looked up. Wolf. Instinct, or at least something deep inside, made me want to growl. Made my bones want to start changing, skin stretching. No. I shook my head and my brain cleared... It didn't smell like a wolf, or even a werewolf. It smelled like...
"Pepper?"
But it smelled different, almost dangerous. And Pepper and Jessy were standing right in front of it, so it had to be someone else. I started forward to get to the others and find out what was happening.

I pulled up in front of the them, tires screeching. there was definately something about that wolf that reminded me of Pepper, bar one thing.
It had no soul.
"Jessy, Pepper," I said, walking slowly towards them. "Back away. No sudden moves. Nicki, stay in control," in the corner of my eye, I noticed Vala. "Vala, I need you to stay back, too. Just keep an eye on things, only step in if necessary. And watch the mouth. I don't like this at all."

Officially confused, i watched Doc approach the wolf. I found myself frowning- it was extremely annoying how these people all treated me like an inexperienced Child. I crossed my arms, and waited never the less- i needed their help, so i would play by their rules.
