i heard the crash of a door and saw two people run out onto the roof then stop dead by Nicki and Pepper about 15m behind me.
"Charlie." I heard Doc gasp.

"You're gonna hurt us if you do this! Charlie!" I felt my voice begin to crack and I swallowed before looking back at Doc and Maya pleadingly. "You have to do something."
I liked Charlie, I hadn't known her for long but I called her a friend. She was in the Slayerettes which meant she was in my family. I'd be damned before she did this.

Doc had leapt off the bike before it came to a skidding halt outside the house. I followed him inside as he cried,
"Charlie!?"
"Charlotte!" I called out.
"The roof." He murmured even as he started up the stairs. We burst out onto the roof...

I paused. Then I ran over to Doc.
"You got my note?" I asked and he nodded, gripping my arms tightly.
"Charlie I wont let you do this."
"I have to Doc, I wont hurt you."
"You wouldn't, we found out-" I cut him off by kissing him with more passion than I ever had before.
"Whatever you found out doesn't change anything. I'm a danger to you, if I can be maniplated that easily into becoming a murderer then I don't belong among such wonderful people. Here." I handed Doc the soul sabre he had crafted for me and whilst he looked at it in disbelief I sprinted to the edge of the roof and jumped, diving down towards the water, hard as concrete they say from that height. I could feel the wind rushing against me, blowing my hair back and its moans were combined with the wails from above. As I flew downwards i smiled, knowing I would soon be with my parents.
((That's it folks, Charlie is properly dead. Sorry to do that i just have so much on with A-levels and everything that I really can't afford to be so addicted to this site. i will still post on a few old threads so they're not left hanging but that's about it.))

"NO!" I feel to my knees, the Sabre still in my hands. "Oh God, please no. This can't be happening again. Not this. Not again," I folded into myself, rolling into a small ball, Charlie's Sabre nestled between my knees and my chest. "Charlotte? Baby, don't go."

I ran forwards to the edge and looked down but the sight churned my stomach so much that I backed away. She was really gone. And I hated that... I'd seen too many people die, too many people that I cared about had died.
The only thing I could do now was walk away and... I knelt down by Doc and gently stroked his back as he cried, looking up I saw Mai, Jessy and Peps coming over as well and I wiped away my own tears to focus on everyone else. How could I help?

The sobs welled up, hurting me as they broke out. I ran to Doc but realised I couldn't do anything. He held the Soul Sabre so firmly yet gently, like he never wanted to let it go. It was horrible, to stand there and watch him in so much pain and know that I couldn't help.

"No." I gasped. "It's not real, its not... shes gotta be ok." I ran the last few steps to the edge, prepared to leap over myself if thats what it took to find her. Several pairs of arms held me back as my friends... charlies friends grabbed me,
"God Maya no!" Jessy cried, tears streaming down the young girl's face.
"She cant be... she cant..." I sobbed. My legs gave way and i collapsed, shaking violently as i starred into space, "Oh goddess it's my fault." I murmured.
"No, Mai." Nicki said, while the others tried to comfort Doc. "Of course it's not. Mai?" She waved a hand before my face but i didn't even see it.
My child was gone.
I accuse my friend of killing her.
And that friend killed herself.
It's my fault.
"Mai?"
It's my fault.

Not far away, a beautiful woman, dressed all in white with an extraordinary, heavenly glow watched. She wanted to comfort the people she thought of as friends... but they couldn't know she was here. Then they would wonder why she hadn't stopped Charlie...
((Sorry, had to. May never actually follow that up, and if it does come up, it wont be for a while. Still fun. AND NOONE can have seen/sensed/smelt the woman in white, hope u can guess hu she is! ;D ))

She was gone. Nothing else registered, nothing else mattered. Only that Charlotte was gone.
I curled up into the corner of mind, not paying attention to anyone else, not saying anything, just the blank realization that the world had suddenly gone dark.

"Doc?" Tash appeared out of nowhere, saw Pepper and Jessy trying to comfort her brother, with Nicki doing the same with Maya. There was no sign of Joshua, Aila or Charlotte. "What happened?" She wrapped her brother in her arms as teh others related the last two days. The girl was furious. "Why the hell can't you leave him alone?" She screamed into the sky. "Hasn't he been through enough?"
