Well, that's unexpected, I thought as the doctors whelled maya off in a wheel chair, Joshua so close he may have been in there with her.
[Maya's in labour,] I sent to T. [Gathering here. The entire family.]
[On my way} he sent back. I sat down in on of the plastic chairs, leaning my head back.
"She just had to patrol alone," I groaned.

I appeared in a burst of fire next to Doc and fell over, "Still need to get the hang of this.
((If anyof you want to know how TPot did that, well..., lets just say that soon after some other stuff happens he learns some new tricks, I've got an evil plan to save the world.))

"Don't worry" I said calmly as Doc was clearly panicking. "Mai's gonna be fine. And then we're gonna have a mini-slayerette too!"

Josh held my hand as i was taken to a room and moved into a bed. The nurse kept asking me questions- why hadn't i been in for check ups? how long ago was hte first contraction? I avoided answering many of them, just waiting for the next contraction, praying that i wouldn't be too soon- it hurt!
"You ok?" Josh asked me. I forced a smile,
"Yeah." I said. Then i genuinely grinned, "We're gonna have a baby girl." I squealed. He chuckled,
"Yeah we are."
"Still havent thought of a name." I said.
"Plenty of time." Josh said.
"Yeah, I kn...Oooooooow!!" Cried out as another contraction hit. A nurse rushed to my side, the look on her face telling me clearly that she didnt understand how it was happening so quickly.
"We can give you something to dull the pain if you want." She told me, but i shook my head violently,
"No."
"Mai..." Josh began, but i shook my head harder,
"No. I wanna know whats happening- i can take it."

I smiled as Pepper joked with Doc but part of me felt jealous. I sat and looked ahead. I liked hospitals. So clean and orderly. But there was always a sinister edge. The endless doors.
