(((Ok... that was different... he needed to do that... there wouldn't have been enough time to do what he needed to to be able to get the gem, and they could have described the attack a little... that's the problem... Cervantes needed 'no' evidence... and witnesses are evidence.)))
'They've found us.' I thought.
I got into position to attack... Scott still hid, he didn't even know where I was, but I could see him perfectly... I could see everything.
I used my shadowpower now to hide myself properly, from scent and scence, heat, heartbeat... everything was hidden.
'Almost forgot!' I thought.
I grabbed a shuriken (is that how you spell it?) and trust it at the lightbulb. destroying it, so no lights could be turned on.

"What's up?" I asked. Jessy only went stiff like that when something was wrong.
"Everything just...vanished," she said. "Scent, sound...I can't find the guy."
"Oh, now that's a bad thing," I muttered under my breath, making hand signals quickly; Take the roof. I'll go around back.
Jessy nodded in understanding and sooped off. I drew my pistols...
...And went through the front door. This was going to be a bloodbath and I didn't want Jessy to see it.

I saw the man walk in. It was the same man that I saw that other time. Oh well...
'A few more steps... a few more.' I thought as I also kept a sharp eye on the roof where I senced the animal girl was.
He was smart... but not smart enough.

Our guy was in there, and if he was as smart as I figured, he knew we were here.
As I walked in, I noticed it was pitch black. I grinned, fingering one of the many magical items I held on my person. Wanna play in the dark, I thought, sinking into the shadows and into limbo made of twisting, crystaline walkways and platforms. Two can play at tha game.
(((And before you try and follow, Cervantes, it's a different 'shadow world' to the one you access, I believe, and is only accesible by the amulet Doc has, of which there is one. I got the idea from an old cartoon. Not smart enough, huh?)))

'A shadowworld hey? Well... let's force you out!' I thought as I silently pulled out my shadowdisk.
I senced the shifter girl on th roof and threw my shadowdisk at her, just missing her, which is what I intended on doing.
I jumped over to wheer she fell and covered her with shadowpower, stopping her from being able to transform then quickly tieing her up so she couldn't move. (shadowpower... is there no end to it's possibilities?)
I held onto her.
"Ok Doc." I said out loud, "I know you and you know me... and because you know me... you know how easily and unrecretfully I could kill her at this moment. So why don't you come out?" I suggested, "and no funny stuff... it's very dark here and outside... I could disappear and take the girl with me in an instant if you don't co-operate!"
The girl tried to move, but the shadowpower kept her under control.
"Daddy tought you well... didn't he? But he hasn't faced me before... he couldn't have prepared you for this... don't worry though, as long as daddy here co-operates... I wont hurt you... you have my word." I whispered to the girl.

It was at that point I came out behind him, a sharp piece of crystal in my hand. The second it touched his throat, the shadow's holding Jessy vanished.
"Surprised?" I hissed. "The Shadowrealm I entered draws powers from other realms. Using the crystal like this... well, sorry about you're little hostage situation. But like you said. I know you, you know me. And you should know, nobody threatens my daughter. Now, what the hell is going on here?"

I appeared nearby, blades at the ready... if it was a fight he wanted... it was a fight he was gonna get!
I went to strike when something... I don't know what, jumped out and takled me. It punched and kicked and hit me every time, like it knew what I was going to do and was able to counter before I even did it.
"Cervantes! Stop!" Said a familiar voice... kinda like mine.
I stopped... what was going on here?
"Listen! Control yourself... look at what you've done! This is not you!" Said the figure holding me down.
I calmed and finally realised what I had done... "oh... no..." I said.
"Forget about it for now," said the figure and shoevd that same artifact that was on the table in my hand and pressed down on a few spots, "now... go... stop him!"
Then I teleported.
(3rd person)
The figure stood up slowly, "Sorry for what I have done, it's hard to explain... but I know what I must do now."
The figure took the artifact from the table and began to walk outside.
"Wait..." Doc began, "Who are you?"
The figure turned around. A little of the moon's reflection shone on it's face from the hole in the roof. It was Cervantes... the same man.
"Please forgive me for my actions earlier, but there is nothing I can do to correct them apart from this." The other Cervantes said and took the stone, heading toward the museum, leaving a very confused Doc, Jessy and Scott behind.
