(((Doc told me about the names of those who fight for the side of good, but don't always do the right things... he said they were called antiheroes... so, that is what Cervantes is)))
(3rd person)
It was about 11 p.m. There was but three people in the museum. Four, if you count the shadowy figure that appeared in the office.
It crept up to the head guard. He sat, with his coffee, on a chair, watching the security cameras, the figure looked at the cameras and saw two other guards walking around, checking the rooms.
The shadow crept up behind the guard sitting on the ground, and grabben him from behind, chocking him, and putting him to sleep. All, in silence.
Down, in a large room, the shadowy figure again, appeared, walking out from a shadow in the corner. It crept up behind one of the guards walking around. The guard swung his keys around his finger as he walked, whistling a tune.
The shadow crept closer, and closer, and a blade came out on top of it's wrist. The gard turned around, but was too late. With a quick thrust, the blade entered his chest, and retreated just as quickly, leaving almost no mess.
By now, the last guard got to the camera room, and saw that the head guard wasn't there. He took a glimpse at the cameras and saw the dead guard, and the shadow looking down on him.
Then, the shadow ducked into a dark corner and vanished.
The guard turned around and reached for the alarm, but his hand was caught but the shadow. The blade on the shadows wrist entered the guard's throat, then exited just as quickly.

The shadow then crept back into the large room, and looked at a gem, sitting in a glass frame.
It slipped a knife on all four sides of the frame and lifted the frame carefully, then placed it on the floor.
It then looked at the gem closely, examining it for any traps. It slid another knife under the gem and lifted the gem. No alarm.
It then put the glass back in it's place. Slipped the knives away and walked out of the room.
It got to the office where the cameras were. It walked to the back of the mainframe and sabotaged it all. It then headed for the main computer and deleted all recent files.
Then, it walked up to a shadowy corner and pressed the alarm. The whole place lit up and there was a loud rocket of a noise as the alarm yelled out, but the shadow had already disappeared before any of this happened.

I heard an alarm out the window. What to do... What to do... Someone else could handle it.

I rubbed my eyes. Why was the place that got broken into always on my block? I dragged myself out of bed and flew down the road a short way.

The guard's eyes opened slowely. He was in an almost pitch-black room.
He looked around, then saw the two red eyes glowing in the darkness, looking at him.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"You need not know that, what you do need to know however is that I need what you already know." The shadow said.
"Wha-?" He replied, confused.
The shadow produced the gem from it's hand. "This, what does it do?" It asked.
"I don't know." Said the guard, quite firmly.
"Bullshit!" The shadow replied, "You know what it does, and you had better tell me!"
"Or what?" Asked the guard, "you haven't even tied me up! I could just walk out of here."
"Feel free to, you'll only be hunted down by the police and thrown into prison for life!" The shadow told him.
"What do you mean?" The guard asked.
The shadow grabbed a remote control and pressed the 'ON' button. A screen turned on in front of the guard. It was the news.
"The theft and murders have been believed to be the work of the securty guard working here, Scott Lowingham. Evidence goes to prove that he could have been the only person who would be able to commit this crime in such a way as there is no sign of break-in." Said the reporter.
The screen turned off.
"Here are your choices," Said the shadow, "Stay here and help me, or face them."

I shook my head as Mal fed me the story. "Scott was a good guy. And no sign of a break in? That isn't sufficient evidence in court." I snuck into the museum.

"I thought you'd be here sooner," I said as Jessy entered the building.
"Right place, right time?" She asked. I shrugged.
"The police have already gone over the place," I said. "However, they missed a few things."
"Like what?"
"Like the guy in the camera booth," I said, leading her there. "Cops say he's vic number 2. Slashed throat. Camera's a down, so not even Mal can get anything off them. Victim's throat was slashed. Now, what's wrong with this picture?"

"The guard has a gun, and a cudgel, but no knife. And why slit a throat when he knew how to stab? Is that right?" I asked.

"There's that," I said congratulatory, "But, if it was the guard, he may want the cops to think that. There was one other thing. It's too professional. Like an assain's hit or something. No mess, no noise, nothing. It's the same with victim number one. The blade was straight in and out, no muss, no fuss. Poor bastard didn't even realise he was dead until he hit the floor."

"But, why send an assasin to do a theif's job? Unless the assasin is a theif as well. I mean, this could have been done with no death whatsoever." I replied.

"Ok, I'll help." Scott said nervously, "But you'll never get away with this!"
"I already have!" I replied, stepping out of the shadow.
"Hey... I know you!" He said.
"Yes, I know that, that is why I knew you could help." I replied, my red eyes glowed in the darkness.
"How are you going to ensure that they don't lock me up in prison." Scott asked.
"I'll make sure, don't you worry. But for now, we have to figure this out." I told him, "Where is you're research?"
"Back at my home, but there'll be police everywhere!" He told me.
"Taken care of. You stay put, not like you have any choice, if you want to stay safe!" I ducked into the shadow and disappeared.
(Third person)
Scott turned the T.V on again, and watched as the news unfolded the story of the search for him.

"Could be off contract," I mused. "Only I've never heard of something like this. We know one thing for sure, however. He isn't Tarakan."
"How do we know that?" Jessy asked.
"There's be three bodies."

I winced. "This is bad. We've got to find Scott. But one thing? Why, of all the gaurds, did Scott survive? I mean, Scott would have been the first found. Why not kill him anbd keep one of the other two alive?" I asked.

"If we knew that, we'd probably know the rest of this," I said. "Mal's checking his background. We might find something from that. Let's go look at teh display case, shall we?"
