Unexpected Run-In

"Oh please do." I couldn't help the amused smirk. Oh he was fun to banter with wasn't he?

I made no stance, only watched him with amusement. My eye sight at this point was clearing fast. Ah, fast healing, a nice little ability I was thankful for.

"You better be as good as you seem to think you are." Pot calling the kettle black much?

"Oh dear," I said, shaking my head. "You haven't looked into my file very much have you," with that I moved in, throwing an easy punch I expected her to block. Fast hard hits were Jeet Kune Do's specialty, but so was reversing other attacks. I didn't know what she was capable of, so I was going to have to rely on Bruce Lee's hard work and hope for the best.

With a quick movement I blocked the punch before using the other hand, palm up, to smash into his nose.

"I know enough, do you?" Oh he was a fun game now wasn't he?

I staggered back, wiping under my nose. Fast but controlled movement. "Interesting," I said. "You know, the only Slayer's I've ever met with the speed to move like that, yet control to hold back not to kill me had a hell of a lot of experiance, and even then, they managed to break more than my nose."

"Oh if I wanted to I could leave you battered and broken, but I don't want to do major harm. Not if I don't have too." He thought he was cocky. Well it took more than that to get my blood pumping the way he wanted it too. "Or was I supposed to act irrationally? Swing a wild punch in anger?"

"Most Slayer's are, I admit," he said. "You're... intrgueing me. You have more experiance than your age belies, I doubt the Great Queen Summers could equal your control. You're also a cheating bitch," i flashed her an easy smile. "So, I'm definately looking forward to this," I dropped back into my stance, waiting patiently this time. "Definately looking forward to it."

This time I made no comment, no smart remark, not for a lack of things to say but for a change of pace. Standing my ground I just watched him amusement still evident. And he had no idea how much of a bitch I could be.

He was guessing, trying to figure out what my background was. A part of me couldn't wait to see his reaction.

I moved, a much sharper more precisinoed strike coming towards her face, which she blocked and returned one of her own. This time, however, I managed to deflect the attack and counter-attacking with a straight jab in one swift, fluid movement.

Stepping back only slightly I avoided some of the blow, but countered by using the hand I blocked with to grab his arm and use my free hand to place a blow to his chest.

"Ow," I grunted, stepping back. "Okay, you are impressive. Gong defensive isn't going to work here," my stance changed, a closer stance, both hands up in front of my face, switching from Jeet Kune Do to Muay Thai. "Let's try this again."

"Oh please do," I chuckled, amused. He wasn't going to give up, had to give him credit for that. I wasn't disappointed so far.

I moved in real close this time, striking out with elbows and knees to disorient her before landing one swift kick to the gut and an elbow to the face.

"That almost hurt." I laughed, it did hurt, slightly, but was more of an annoyance than anything else. I dropped to the ground with a sweeping kick, bringing his legs out from under neither him.

I fell, rolling back to a crouch, looking at her questioningly. "So, is there anything else you want to tell me?"

"I thought you were smart, wanted to figure things out? You seem to be the one doing all the digging." I smirked, watching him with interest. Waiting for whatever move he was going to make.
