Matt walked into the bar, well before opening time. He'd wanted to meet with Coal to discuss 'Annie' and 'Doc', their connection to the person snapping up every helpless, hopeless and deranged person he could and what to do about it. For now, he was a courier, a go-between because, for some reason, Doc couldn't be seen anywhere near the cage fights. It hinted at a connection, but Matthew wasn't sure what.
"Coal, you here?" He called out, looking around, his mind mulling over what he knew. Admittedly, not much.

"Down here Babe," came a voice from behind the bar. She wasn't quite sure why she was laying down on her jacket on the floor but she was. It was confortable and private back there. The floor was cold which was nice to her naturally warm skin. She looked at her watch with a yawn. "Opening time in a few hours," she pointed out. She had only arrived about an hour ago and waited outside until the two finished talking about whatever they needed to talk about. She could smell them still inside and hid so Doc wouldn't notice she was there. From the look he had when he left she was glad she did so. Even though she hadn't known him long she could tell he was confused and needed time to himself.
"You know, next time you COMPLAIN about my activities being dangerous think of what you've involved me into and then don't complain."

"What, it's not like they're terrorists or something," he said, glancing over the bar. "Are they? She didn't seem like one, well, overly much, for a vampire," He took a seat, waiting for her to get up. "I take it you decided to eavesdrop on their meeting?"

"A vampire, a... whatever the hell this guy is who apparently has enough of a connection for her to go into cage fighting for a living," Matt said dryly. "I don't see anything that might be interesting in all that."

"Well other than the load of sexual tension they seemed to think this whole thing was pretty big. Even offering blood banks?" she gave him a weird look. "Why would someone 'give out' humans?" She scrunched her nose.

"Free meal for the show?" Matt offered dryly. Yeah this guy was a little bit more serious than he thought. "I didn't see those, they must be keeping them out back. This situation just hit high levels of bad."

"Well thats just... ew." She didn't like the visual, being a make love not war kind of person. "Well, I assume we're going to continue helping them? Or are you going to report to the council? Keep this whole thing to ourselves? I mean if people are getting used as food..."

"I'll report to the council," Matt said slowly. "But I'm not using names. Anonymous sources. Did you hear them use a name?" He added. "I still can't get an identity on this guy. He's like a ghost or something."

"Raven I think they said the guy's name was. The guy seemed pretty scared of this guy while she didn't seem to care..." she thought for a moment, replaying the conversation in her mind. "Yeah, the badie's name is Raven, dunno if you know the guy's name, the good one, the one who has the hots for the vampire. His name's Doc, it was the only one he gave me. Migth help with your research."

"Raven, Doc," he mumbled, pulling out a notebook and writting them down. "There are no vampires matching Annie, but she's probably changed her name," he looked up at hte CCTV camera's hidden behind the bar for security purposes. "Mind if I borrow the footage? Pictures would help."

"N... Oh," he said, shaking his head. "See, this is what happens when i don't write things down," he quickly scribbled 'Rogue' into his notebook. "I really shoudl do something about that. Okay, now I have three names. Next step... figuring out who the hell these people are," he looked at Coal with a smile. "Mind if i get a drink, Coal? All this thinking has me parched."

"The usual," he said. "Scotch and coke, ice. And I normally do. Just, well... couldnt' do to pull out a notebook at a cage fight. Even if all anyone could see was a little red head girl asking her new hero some questions," he smiled, shaking his head. "I really need a better glamour unit."
