"Yeah, I work ith a lot of different herbs and stones." Part of Adel was getting excited. Soemone she could talk about this stuff with. "Kinda? You can't be kinda a werewolf can you?" She asn't all too familiar with werewolves having never met one and the books she'd read didn't always have the correct information. "You ever go to the Apocalypse? It's run by a werewolf. All sorts of people like us go there. But it's safe. Has a spell of some sort over it to prevent fighting."

"Well, when I said kinda, I meant yes. I was bit recently, still getting used to it, and it's side effects." It was almost an embarassed reaction. I had never heard of the Apocalypse, at least as a club. Normally that meant the end of the world. "There are other people like us?" How many people? It couldn't be a lot if the whole human race didn't know about it, right?

"There's a fair few. I mean a lot of demons and vampire also go there but like I said, it's safe." She had only gone a few times but it wasn't bad. "How did you get bitten? If you don't mind me asking. You're the frst werewolf I've met." As curious as she was she also knew some things people didn't want to talk about, but her curiousness was getting the better of her in this situation. "You go to the woods during the full moon don't you?"

A safe place for demons and vampires? It seemed kinda evil, but if there really was no fighting, then it couldn't be that bad, right? I decided that I wanted to go check it out.
"When I got bit, it was acutally in the city. I was making a delivery to this guy, and I was walking back to my car. The wolf jumped out of no where, and got my leg. I kicked it on it's nose with my free leg, and it growled, letting go of me." I still remember the fear I felt, and how bright his teeth shown in the dark. "It was about to attack me again, when it stopped, like it heard something... And ran off. I went to the hospital, and then got a series of rabies shots."
I kinda felt honored that I was her first werewolf. Things were still weird for me, so talking about it helped. "I know this place in the mountains where I usually go. It's resrticted, but sometimes I couldn't make it here. I go into the woods, and I pray no one else is in there.

"Must have been scary. How did you figure out you were a werewof after that?" There were cases of people not knowing their condition and only thinking they were sleep walking in the night. "I would have been terrified." The idea of one day being normal and then in seconds your whole world changing because of something someone else did... Not fun in the least.

"It was terrifing." I leaned in a bit. "It just made sense... Remember the woman who saved me? You called her uh... slayer? She saw the dog bite... I think. Maybe she sensed it." I was trying to remember how she figured it out before I did. The whole night was scary. "I hadn't even gone through my first change, and she like... knew. But everything was out of wack, until my first full moon. I hated being indoors, I was restless, and I had a sudden craving for raw steak. Things are more balanced now. We, me and the Wolf, kinda blended together, if that makes any sense." I probably sounded like a lunatic.

"Makes perfect sense. Glad you and your wolf are getting along now. Would make things easier I would think." Though the woman she was talking about made her curious. "I don't know much about slayers but I guess it would make sense that they could sense something different about a werewolf. It's in their job description to hunt vampires but they'll hunt anything that is evil. Not that you're evil but some werewolves are."

I nodded enthusiastically. "I'm not sure about easier, but it's definitely a lot more fun. My senses increased ten fold. I can hear people talking across the room." I was pretty sure I wasn't evil, but it got me thinking. How would I know if I was evil? Would I laugh menacingly? "Lets go!" I realized that the conversation about the Apcolypse was a little bit ago, but the idea was still there. "To the other club. We could have fun." A grin formed on my face. "Or we could stay here, drink a bit, maybe even dance?" I knew either one, I would be happy with.

"Actually I'd love to be the one to introduce you to Apocalypse. I really think you'll like it!" She lept off the barstool and almost ended up falling in the process. "Sorry, I'm kinda clumsy," she chuckled lamely before grinning. "Anyways, lets go. It's not far from here."
Taking Ash's hand she lead her through the crowd of people before finally being out in the fresh air. "Much better out here."

I held out my hands, to attempt to catch her if she really did fall, out of reflex. Before I could reply to her comment about being clumsy, she had grabbed my hand. My arm tingled where she had her hand wrapped around mine, and it went up my arm. It was a very pleasent feeling. It was rare to find a girl who could shut me up without even trying. I couldn't hide the grin.
I followed her through the croud, keeping my eyes on her at all times. When we broke through the night air, I took a deep breath. "It really is." I looked up at the moon, something I always did. It was waxing, it would be the full moon in a couple of days. I had to look it up, but once I saw the names for the moon phases, they stuck, like embroidered in my brain. "Did you drive?"

"I did, but it's a piece of crap," she warned. It was given to her by her grandmother who was too old to drive the thing and gave it to her. It seemed to be broken down more often than not, she didn't dare drive it across town, preferring to take the bus. "I'm thinking of trading it in for something a little more eco friendly but... that costs money which I have very little of..." Money was one of those pesky things. "Might give in to the idea of getting a room mate."

A crazy idea popped into my head as she mentioned 'looking for a roommate' I was such a bad person. Things could end up very bad if I took her up on her offer, even if it sounded great. I'm sure if she saw my face, I would have given out my thoughts. I wasn't any good about hiding stuff like that. I didn't do alone by my self, and my new apartment was just too quiet. I had just stopped looking at the moon, so I couldn't tell if she saw what I was thinking. "Well, If you want, I could drive? My car is around the corner. I can drive you back over here when we're done."

"Sure." It would certainly help save her car the miles. She had seen the weird look on Ash's face about the roommate comment but kept it to herself for the moment. They had only just met and didn't know much about her. Did she leave lights on when she wasn't using them? Was she obnoxiously loud? Did she shed on furniture? You know, important stuff like that.

I kept her hand in mine, as I led her to my car. It was silver, and really shiney, as if I had just had the car washed and waxed. I wasn't allowed to have a dirty car at work, so I had convinced my manager to buy me free car washes every month. I pushed the unlock botten on my key chain. The lights flashed yellow for a moment, and I opened up the passenger side door. The inside was just as clean as the outside, and it smelt of the car shampoo and vanilla. "Your good at directions, right?"

"Yeah," she said looking at the car. "It's very... sterile." Getting herself situated in the car she looked around almost awkwardly. Wasn't often she was in the passenger seat of a car, let alone with someone she just met. One of these days she was sure that she was going to end up dead for trusting the wrong person, she just knew it.
