"And some were never discovered." 'Like me.' Though she couldn't complain cause there were a lot of slayers who were either never discovered or were discovered after the fact. It wasn't unusual but it was still uncommon, but given how many people there were in the world it was understandable.

"OF course not," he said. "However, contrary to popular belief, my days are not spent waiting for people to walk through my doors. This is, after a fashion, a business and I do have certain things that need to be done to ensure i am no easily found by those i have no wish to service."

"You should know that a good magician never reveals his tricks. And making an entire store dissappear is one David Copperfield would love to get his hands on. I should know. He's asked."

"Probably not. But I do have papers to grade so I suppose I should head off." Looking at Dana she hesitated before nodding. Suppose it's better than her being bored at the apartment. Not that she trusted Mal wasn't evil. Evil didn't always look evil.

Picking up the disc she stared at Mal for another moment before walking out the door they came in from, still not convinced she should leave her charge there.
