"Fine." She replied, "Couple of scratches."
Josh nodded, giving her an encouraging smile,
"Well help with the wounded then, yeah?"
"Yeah... and... Jess?" Aila said, "Erm... Pepper, Chime... Are they... I mean... how do we.... y'know..?"

Raladus did not say a word, instead he took the stones and started to leave...
"Brother." I went after him...
"Zey must be deztroyed, immediately. Vhat consumed herr vas powerrfull... Ve cannot let it ezcape again." Raladus told me, then left... I knew him to be a silent one, more actions then words... always getting the job done, not talking about it.
'Is he sure they will not consume him?' I asked myself.
'If anyone can withstand the power of the stones, it is our brother Raladus.' Toraan sent me a mental message...
'We must leave now... they can take it from here...' I mentally told Toraan...
'Yes... you are right, you're God is awaiting us... we wish not anger him...' He sent back.
"I am sorry... but we must leave... I have important matters to attend to... farrewell..." I told everyone...

I watched the vampire leave with the stones, the stones that held my people's enemy. I released a breath; we would worry about fëamor no longer. Maya was safe as well; we had reached her in time. The demons were finished. The batter was won. And I, I had a gift I never thought I'd have again. Things had ended alright. Cálë utúlië.
I looked up at Zeroc and Toraan as they moved to leave. I nodded my thanks: words weren't needed. Then I looked over at Josh and Aila, staying close to Maya along with everyone else. I sighed to myself.
"You," I said, croushing down next to her. "I know you can hear me. What you did was reckless, and stupid, and you should have thought about how it would affect your friends and the world you live in. And when you wake up, I'm buying you a drink. Help the recovery."

"What she said," I said as Jessy helped me up. "Give me a few minutes to get my strength back..."
"You are resting, mister," Jessy ordered. "You can drink later."
"Who's the adult here?" I asked wryly. Everything was alright. Now, there was just the whole, 'battle in heaven' to get through. Maybe then, I can get a few night's sleep.

"That would be me," Kerona took charge. "You are needed soon you must rest. As for the queens, they will return, but how soon I cannot say. The ritual is very complicated. However, by summoning me Jessica has been very wise. The ritual will be easier this way. By my power and my sisters' and the queen's we shall be able to do it without sacrifices."

"Well, i'm actually taking Maya now. You guys ok to sort the wounded?"
"Of course." Doc replied. "Look after Mai, we got your back." I nodded to my friend- i'd spent far less time with the group of late, ever since the whole deal with Aila and Charlie... i looked around quickly, and saw that yes, she was still here, watching from a distance. I nodded to her as i left the group. She raised one eyebrow and flipped open a phone. I shook my head slowly and headed for home.
*Charlie*
I pressed speed dial 1, and waiting for an answer. When it came, i smiled to hear the warm but tired male voice,
"Hello?" He said, not identifying himself or the residence for security reasons.
"Hey, It's me." I replied.
"Charlie." He sighed with relief, "You ok?"
"Fine. We've deal over here. Demons gone, everyone more or less alive."
"More or less?"
"Long story. I'll explain when i get back. ...I can come back now, right?"
"Of course, baby, i cant wait to see you."
I heard a giggle in the background and someone said 'ooooh'. I grinned.
"Oh shut up." I heard him scold the girls with amusement in his voice.
"I'll see you soon then." I said.
"Soon. Be safe."
"Always."
"Love you." (More giggles)
"I... I love you too." I replied. "Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up. I glanced once more back at the group as they gathered together to troop back to the battlefield to survey the damage.
"Bye." I murmured once more, and set out for the airport.

I stepped aboard the ghost ship... leaving once again those who had welcomed me into their... family...
Toraan felt like me... we had known them longer than any of my brothers.
The army of the dead also boarded the ship and prepared it for take-off...
I walked up to the wheel, where another of my brothers... TerraGhoul was to steer...
The ship slowly started to leave the ground and float, I watched down below, Toraan by my side...
'Only two brothers to find... and I will return...' I thought, knowing that someone might pick it up... but Toraan knew as well as I did who I wanted reading my thoughts at this moment.

My phone ran. I looked up at the nearest demon. "Could ya hold on a sec? I gotta take this call." The demon jumped at me. I swung my sword. It fell down. "Yellow?" I said into the phone. "We can't hold them off." A voice whispered. "They keep coming through."
I looked at The Pepperish non Pepper. "Can we drop off in Australia on the way back?I hear it's a discount to go all the way around the world.
