For several moments, i could not move. It was the wierdest thing... it was like i was in my own head, but i wasnt alone. Tyrial was in here... he was trying to control me. "Get out, d*ckweed." I snapped, not sure whether it was coming out loud or not. [glow=red,2,300]You cannot expell me, witch, you cannot imagine the power i hold[/glow] He growled with a horrid laugh. "News flash- you picked the wrong human to mess with." I replied. I felt him trying to move my body, telling me to hurt the others, an odd sensation that as hard to resist. I saw Aredhels look of dread, and then surprise as i smirked, and punched Tryial in the face. [glow=red,2,300]NO! He bellowed, you are under my control!![/glow] And i got the awful feeling he was right... i hoped the other would do somthing quick, cos i couldn't fight this for long...

((and I had such a PLAN for this thread... gah Tyrial will pay dearly for this...))
In his haste to control Maya, Tyrial had relinquished his control over Aralin. She was waking slowly, trying to find her way back to the conscious world. Too worried about Maya, I didn't help the process. But when Aralin pushed herself up and took my hand, I knew it was time to work together. She would not hold it against me that I had hurt her: she knew it was necessary.
Her hand firmly in my own, we began the spell, trying desperately to help Maya.
"Lasto beth nîn, Maya. A si i-Dhuath ú-orthor, ú or le. Lasto beth nîn. Tolo dan nan galad!"
Hear my voice, Maya. The shadow does not hold sway yet, not over you. Hear my voice. Come back to the light!
((haha the elvish is just so funny with that 'Maya' stuck in there...))

I appeared from the roof, and landed behind Aredhel.
She turned around and I threw a green bolt of mist at her face, seeing as she was but a few centermeters in front of me, the bolt hit it's target... Aredhel was also under my control.
Maya seemed to be able to fight the inner spirit that I had placed inside of her.
[glow=red,2,300]"You's a POWERFUL one! I could use you!"[/glow] I said, waving my hands around, the green mist swirling around Maya... now she was also under my control!
I turned to Zeroc and Rogue, my next targets...

((ok, sorry for the HP ripoff...))
As i stood there, the little voices telling me to fight my own friends, to bend to tyrial's will, I heard some deep part of me saying, "Erm, why?" And the voices replied, because he is your master. And i thought, "Na... pretty sure hes not, actually." But he is, he is master of all. "Nope. I'm my own master. Get out of my head." No. "Yes!" Do as we command! "No!" Stop fighting! "Nadda chance." I felt my own power exploding outwards, pushing against the demon's hold. "Get OUT!" I screamed, and the green mist disapated. I stretched. "Much better." And set up a permant shield around those of us left. Then i walked straight up to Aredhel, slapped her, and said, "Snap out of it, girly girl." Both out loud, and in her mind.

((HP ripoffs are ok... I'm gonna semi-ripoff an ep of Buffy that I never actually saw...))
When Tyrial sent that bout of green mist at me, I'm sure he thought it was a good plan. I'm sure he thought that I would fall under control. But what he didn't realize when he sent that little bit of something, fighting for control, into my body, was that there was already a i]little bit of something[/i] there. A powerful demon lived inside me, a powerful demon that I had supressed for many years now. A powerful demon that was just itching for a fight.
My body was actually convulsing with the strain of housing two such beings; three, if you counted my soul, but seeing as it wasn't currently locked in an inner battle, I didn't worry too much about it. As I fell to the ground, I was dimly aware of Maya slapping me and Aralin muttering every elvish healing word she could think of.
[Get... rid... of Tyrial] I managed to gasp out mentally. I was losing grip of consciousness. With one final effort, the demon inside me cast down Tyrial's control, and I could almost feel the green mists pouring out of me. I knew that, if he tried again, it would be a lot harder to beat him. Damn.

I flew upwards. My hands glowing green still.
[glow=red,2,300]"Ok then, if I cannot get you to fight each other, I will destroy you like this!"[/glow] I threatened the five standing nearby.
'I do hate when I must fight like this... some are just easier then others!! But they cannot defeat me!' I thought.
I sent a psychic burst to Maya's psichic shield, which, to my amazement, she was able to defend against, althought drainig a lot of power.
I sent a constand beam of psychic energy towards her... she was able to hold it.
[glow=red,2,300]"Ha ha, you may be powerul, but this power I am using is nothing compared to what I could hit you with... your power IS extencive, but you cannot defeat a god!"[/glow] With that, I sent a sligtly more powerful wave of psychic energy, which made her shield give way, and sent the five of them flying.

((long post coming up, but there is a purpose for this thread and I will see it done, attack or no attack! Plus, you know, it'll really help us against Tyrial so... oh ad, a bit of Elvish, and I think I should note that it's not perfect elvish, if any of you care, and in fact, if I ever spoke to a REAL elf (doubtful), they would probably die from the way I butcher their language...))
I growled, unintentially morphing into my vampire face. I was angered, and not the usual amaount of angered either; really, really angered. Aralin beside me put a hand on my shoulder, whether to calm me down or hold me back I wasn't sure. I didn't care.
"I was so close!" I hissed. "It was in my grasp! It's here, I know it! But he had to come and ruin it all!"
"Be calm, sister," Aralin muttered back, trying to hold against the mental barrage Tyrial was sending at us all. "You have more time to find it."
"Time? What time do you think we have?!" I demanded, faltering for a moment against the attack. "I am not the only one looking for it. How many do you think would want a weapon, a treasure, like that? How many?"
"Countless."
"And they had to hide it in LA. Of all the bloody places, they just had to hide it in demon-central!"
"Well it wasn't LA a millenium ago, was it?!" Aralin snapped back. "It was the West, the farthest point away from anyone. Humans weren't hear yet, and the demons were driven away. It was only the elves. And we knew that you, specifically, would come after it. So while you were off slaughtering villages, we sailed across an ocean and trekked over a continent!"
"We?"
"Excuse me?"
"You said we, as in, including you. You know where it is. Is it here?"
Aralin nodded and smiled, despite the strain we were currently under. It's amazing what can happen when you're under considerable pain and fighting a foe stronger than you can hope to become. God's have a way of doing that to you, I suppose, but that really wasn't the point.
[Gaer] she said to me, in my mind. [I-Celebhith lost i-gaer]
The sea. The Celebhith sleeps in the sea.
Well that made no sense whatsoever. She had just said that it was here, in the graveyard, and the graveyard was not the sea. Not even close. I looked around, but fell back as I was hit with another mental barrage. d**n him. Aralin took my hand, and together we concentrated, trying desperately to put up a block strong enough to withstand his power for long enough for me to look around.
I saw it. It wasn't the actual sea, it was a mausoleum with the symbol emblazoned above the door. The mausoleum was the sea. If I could get there, if I could find the Celebhith, perhaps we would stand a chance. And then, I could finish my quest, and live in (relative) peace.
I scrambled across the open gra$$ towards the mausoleum, aware of Aralin trying to protect me form behind. I knew Tyrial thought I was running, but he was in for a nasty shock. I burst through the doors without even stopping, and the world melted away...
((wooo I'll prolly do the rest of Aredhel's experience in another post, but for now, a$$ume that she's like... disappeared))

Mai's probably going to slap me for this, I thought even as I did it.
The green mist glowing flying dude suddenly shrieked in sudden pain as my glaive pierced the skin of his back, however leaving bloodless scars and holes all over his rear end.
I landed from my jump just in front of Mai and the others, holding my weapon at the ready position and never taking my eyes off of my opponent.
"Joshua," Mai gasped, kind of like those damsels-in-distress that were in 80s television, but I blame the fact she was exhausted from defending against this guy for so long than actual intent.
"Hey," I glanced over my shoulder to give her a 'sexy grin'. At least she always told me it was. "How you doin'?" I asked. And amazingly, just like on TV, she blushed, but at the same time, do did the elf and Rogue.
Must be a Joey thing, I decided, turning my gaze back up to my opponent.
[glow=red,2,300]Who the hellfire are you?[/glow] he asked.
I smirked as I just shrugged and gestured back at Mai and answered simply, "Her boyfriend."
He glowered at me, which is saying something for this guy, I gotta say, before I decided that was enough waiting and made a short charge before leaping back up at him, my Slayer-enhanced muscles making such a leap easy.
He swiped some green-glowing claws at me, but I deflected and defended faster than he could throw them at me, and then went a step further and landed several cutting blows against him and his face.
Then, using him to bounce off of, I shot myself over to the wall of a mausoleum with stone murals of waves and the ocean on it. I flipped myself around and landed high on the wall, a spider-web crater forming around my feet where I had landed, where I stayed for a moment longer than I should have.
I looked right into Mai's eyes as I said, "Wait, it get's better." Then I leaped off, aiming for my opponent, and in the aftermath of my jumping, the entire mausoleum shuddered, and then collapsed in on itself like it had been blasted for demolition.
I was more concerned with hitting my opponent however.
He threw a couple green gas clouds at me, but with a smirk, I trapped the whole clouds in time bubbles and shrunk them away to nothing.
[glow=red,2,300]Huh?![/glow] he exclaimed with shock, even as I rocketed up to him faster than ever.
My fist began to glow white as I charged an attack that I had never used in front of anyone before. Mostly because I've never been in a situation where I needed to use it before.
Just before we collided again, I caught Tyrial's eye (having learned his name from Mai while we were 'saying hello' down below) and I smirked even more as the look on his face changed from hatred and confusion to absolute shock.
Then, a minor explosion shook the air, triggering a small flash of light.
I landed with my feet under me, a small crater and dust flying up as I did. Tyrial had a slightly rougher landing.
;D

"That's it," I said walking in. "I am never leaving you people without a chaperone again. And as for you," I rammed my Soul Saber into the ground, around where I think Tyriel's elbow sat. At least, I think it was his elbow. If not this shadow guy was in a whole lot of pain. "Stay down."

(((When are you people going to learn that you can't hurt a god??? Possibly because I'm a physical god, you can batter me around a bit, but I won't scream in pain, I wont have a whole lot of holes left in me, because a physical weapon will not harm me, only another god can! Such as Ate, she'd be the only one who can, and thanks for the cool weapon you just gave me Doc...)))
As the mortals got distracted after they thought I'd stay down because a supernatural-killing saber just got shoved through my arm, I grabbed the saber and took it out of my elbow, and held it in my hand.
Doc tried to take it back, tried to draw some of it's power, but it was useless, the saber was now in my possession, along with it's power.
[glow=red,2,300]"It's been a long time since I've used one of these!"[/glow] I said, looking at hte sword.
Joshua again tried to attack me, I clicked and a green mist circled him and tied him up, thius time, he had the rough landing, and there was nothing to cushion it for him!
[glow=red,2,300]"Stay put!"[/glow] I demanded, he wasn't going anywhere!
"How could you hold it's power?" Doc asked my in sheer confusion.
[glow=red,2,300]"Man, you mortals are dumb! I'm a bloody god! Get that through your thick heads!"[/glow]
"So, why haven't you used one of these in a while? I mean, can't get your hands on one?" He asked sarcasticly, adding a giggle.
[glow=red,2,300]"No, not powerful enough for my liking! Don't need one! Ha, I could flick my finger, and I'd generate more power than this thing can!"[/glow] I laughed as Doc had an expression of utter astonoshment on his face.
Joshua simply looked scared, he couldn't get out, and all of Maya's, Rogue's, Aralin's and Zeroc's efforts didn't help him either... he was simply stuck until I willed him to be freed!
I threw back the soul saber to Doc, and freed Joshua by clicking my finger again.
[glow=red,2,300]"Now, it's been a LONG time since I've been able to bash up mortals in a straight out battle! I've had to settle for power struggles and assassinations because the stupid overgod people won't let me fight, but I am allowed to now! So please, amuse me!"[/glow] I said, and got ready to fight.
If these mortals had enough intelligence, they'd run right now, I wasn't going to stop them, but, I already knew they were going to take the foolish choice, and fight.
'Oh well,' I thought, 'At least they'll amuse me for a while!'
(((Sorry for the long thread)))

((Tyrial, hun, CALM DOWN! Now, I would like to point out that this RPG takes place in BUFFYVERSE! And in Buffyverse, a mortal, Buffy, beat up a god, Glorificus. So don't tell them that they can't hurt you! and as for the rest of you *cough*Joshua*cough* try not to make your char all-powerful like that. You're forgiven though cause of that last OOC remark Josh )) I didn't know what was going on. I could hear nothing of the battle outside, I could feel nothing of it, but I knew it was there. I knew everything that was going on outside the walls of the mausoleum (if it was really just a mausoleum), not only in the graveyard, but everywhere. I almost fell to my knees under the crushing weight of all the knowledge, but found, to my astonishment, that there was no floor to fall onto. I was merely floating in some other reality. So you have come, said a voice, whether inside my head or outside, I could not tell. It came from everywhere and yet nowhere. "Who are you?" I demanded, surprised to hear my voice echo, though there was nothing for it to echo from. "Show yourself!" At once there was a dim figure, walking towards me. She came closer, and I could see her radient blonde hair falling lightly past her shoulders. It was familiar to me. Her dress seemed to be woven of the cosmos themselves, every colour shimmering in the material (if it really was material). It was familiar to me. And when she came near enough, I gasped when I saw her face, for it, too, was familiar to me. Elen síla lumenn' omentielvo. A star shines on the hour of our meeting"You?" I said, almost in tears despite myself. She nodded. "Yes," she said quietly. "You search for the Celebhith, a way to harness the souls of the dead. Who else would the elves trust to protect such a weapon, their treasue?" I held out a hand, trying to touch her face, and nearly broke when I felt that she was solid; she was there with me. My Arelen, my noble star. "Oh my child," I half-whispered. "Long have I searched for your soul. The Celebhith was my final resort." She nodded. "I know. I have seen what you have done. In here, I am connected, to the universe and to you within it. The Celebhith is here, with me, awaiting you." "It was mine by right," I said quietly. "Until-" "Until nothing," Arelen interrupted. "It is still yours, mother. And now is your time to claim it. I daresay it would help when you return to the graveyard." I smiled a bit. "Hannon le," I said, Thank you. I held out my hand. The very fabric of the universe seemed to come toghether around me, bending and twisting to a will not my own. It built up, from the bottom to the top. First, the long, slender staff of the Celebhith appeared in my hand, pure shimmering silver. The ornate crowning seemed to gradually fade into being; a glowing orb, crowned with a silver moon and silver stars. The Celebhith, the Silver Mist, was mine at last. "Go now," Arelen said to me. "Harness the power of the Celebhith, harness the souls of the dead beyond the silver mists, and help your friends. Forever now, I am with you." I reached out once again, putting a hand on her cheek. "Oh, my dear, dear child," I whispered. "Le mellon." She smiled at me, one last time, and began to fade away. "Le mellon," she replied. I love you. When I opened my eyes again, the Celebhith was still in my hand, and I was standing in a regular mausoleum. The door behind me was broken, no doubt from when I had kicked it. The wall beside me looked as though something had flown into it; it was cracked in many places. I walked out of the door to see the others about to face off with Tyrial. I growled, stalking over to them. "So you have found it," Aralin said when I reached them. "Good, we could use a weapon. He is strong." I nodded. "Hey Josh, Doc, Jessy. When'd you get here?"

"Doc, why don't you stop teasing the nice demon and show him why he never wanted ordinary Soul Sabres before," I taunted the demon. Claiming to be a god was one thing, but it had been proven than almost 90 % of the gods in mythology were either once mortal, or were demons. I don't wanna know what the other 10% are. "By the way," I continued taunting him as I pulled out my amulet, "How do you stack up against the titans? Specifically . . . the Avatar of Cronus, King of the Titans!" I activated the amulet, enhancing my powers beyond anything I had needed in a really long time. And it was enough to make Ate think twice and I knew without doubt, having done it at least once before, that if I had to, I could kill a god on Ate's power level. Or just a bit stronger. And that was *before* I had Slayer powers that were enhanced also! ((( Beat that! )))

(((Ooh, dude, Ate is gonna KILL you!)))
I looked up at Tyrial, and smirked, "You do NOT know who you're dealing with." I told him. My eyes turned black as i raised my hands to the heavens and began murmuring a spell- i didnt wanna give the game away. I looked at him again, and grinned, the power of gods running through me, "Im a wiccan, honey- meet my friends."
