(((Hasn't Doc gone off to pray or something, and Cervil has gone back into the Netherworld and closed the portal...)))
"I have been ressurected by Zeroc's god, Anubis's servant, he sent me here to rejoin with Zeroc, why the intrest?" Toraan answered.

"Because the first time I met Zeroc he tried to kill me. Well, that's why I'm interested."

"That was because YOU attacked! I retaliated, THAT was why I attacked you..." I argued.
"Now, you two, there is no need for this arguement." Said Toraan before any arguement could even start, "there was simply a mis-understanding, you both got confused and thought wrongly of each other's actions, now, there's no need to hold any grudges, or not to forgive previous faults!"

I looked over at Maya, not trusting that a whisper would escape Toraan's ears in the night.
[You know, for a shadow, are we noticing that he seems pretty... un-evil? Or is that just me?]

Toraan heard the thoughts of Aredhel and Maya, but ignored them, but thinking suspiciously though.
(((Sorry, I failed to mentioned that he can also read minds in the night...)))

All of the sudden, a portal from the Netherworld opened, and I came stumbling out, very badly bruised. The portal then closed.
"Don't... you can't... impossible... he's... huge" I managed to say, then collapsed, unconcious.

We all just stared at the half-dead half-demon demi-corpse lying on the ground in front of us for a little bit before I turn and look up at Mai's comment and respond in kind, "Well, you know what they say. The bigger they are..."
Me, Aredhel, Doc, Jessy, Mai, and Nicki all finished it together, "...the cooler the sound they make when they fall."
Even as the others looked at us like we were completely insane, even Cervil down on the ground, we were all re-readying our weapons and preparing for the worst, but hoping for the absolute worst. It had been a while since we were really *challenged* by just one foe. The Demonny now that I come to think of it.

My bow was in my hand in a moment, taken from a pocket dimension I kept it in. It was so much easier to get at that way. I held it out in front of me, studying the wood and testing the string. It was perfect. It was always perfect. My favourite weapon, I would not go into battle without it.
"Shouldn't we try to figure out exactly what we're fighing?" I questioned after a moment. "I am experienced in the art of winging it, but, judging by his dramatic entrance, this really doesn't seem like the time to go in blind."

I poked Cervil with a foot, "Hey, any clues?" I asked him.
