I shook my head at Maya, rolling my eyes simultaneously. "You know, if anyone should be getting that sort of treatment, it's you."
No sooner had the words come out of my mouth than a good downpour of smirnoff (since it had been her own ammo only moments before) poured down from the heavens and right onto dear Mai. And Joshua. And, in fact, everyone who had found it ever so amusing before. Bet they changed their minds.
Sensing that a return attack would follow, I quickly put up a shield.

I awoke after a few seconds of lieing there on the ground. My eyes flashed as my power returned to me.
"Lord Haitti must not have raised you properly!" Said a familiar voice from behind me.
I turned and saw nothing.
"Do you not remember me?" It said "Zeroc, how long HAS it been?"
I finally remembered the voice. "Toraan, is that you?"
"At last Zeroc, you remember your older brother!!" He said.
"Reveal yourself Toraan!" I said to the dark night sky.
Almost instantly, the shadow appeared, no longer one with the night.
"It has been a long time Zeroc!" he said to me.
"Yes, and your still up to your old tricks!" I replied.
(Toraan is a shadow, which is almost like a ghost, but has different powers. He can blend in with the darkness, is almost invincible in the night, but can EASILY be put to rest in the day. Toraan also had the smarts out of the bretherin being the oldest one.)
I was happy with the re-uniting of me and one of my bretherin, and I could tell, so was Toraan.
"You must tell me all that has been going on these past few centries!" He told me.

"Thanks Del." I said, licking my lips, and each of my fingers very delicately. Then a torrent of water poured down on Del from within her shield (water not smirnoff cos then she doesnt get the yumminess) She glared at me,
"You got better." She said. I grinned,
"Well duh." I replied.

"And honestly, no I don't sense an evil presense Jessy," I answered the natural animorph, "I see it," pointing to something right behind her.

I looked back sharply where Joshua's gaze was directed, forgetting all about the almost-battle with Maya. In fact, I was already dry. Zeroc was there, standing with another. They seemed close. I looked at the others and shrugged.
"I'll go check it out," I offered. "Seeing as I am the only undead one here."
Walking over, I kept my guard up. Sure, Zeroc had proved friendly enough (for a virtual skeleton), but I had no idea who the newcomer was, and quite frankly, I wasn't about to take a chance. First lesson you learn when locked in bloody warfare for 300 years: trust no one.
"Who're you?" I said rather bluntly as I neared the duo.

Both me and Toraan turned to see Aredhel asking who my brother was.
"This is Toraan, one of my 6 brothers, he has been ressurected." I replied to her question.
"You are not entirely undead!" Toraan pointed out.
"Why do you say that?" Aredhel asked
"You have elf ears!" He replied, "Under you hat." (or whatever it is you keep your ears hidden under.)
"How could you see them" She asked.
"I am one with the darkness, power comes to me in the night!" Toraan answered in a sort of a riddle.
"He does that all the time..." I told her, "He is VERY powerful when it is dark..."
"That, I would say, is true..." He said, "and you are?"

((lol actually, I'd never really thought about her hiding them... she just kinda leaves her hair in front of them I guess... but hat is good...))
I stopped to consider it all. A shadow, obviously, judging by his riddle and the obvious fact of his affinity with night. For a moment, I was wary; the elves hunted shadows in the great battles. I soon realized that I was, in fact, undead, and I didn't need to worry about demons so much anymore. At least, not as much as before.
"My proper name is Aredhel Lindelena," I replied, standing up just a little straighter. "From the royal kin of the elves. And yes, I am a vampire."
I had this thing with old and powerful demons: if they knew I was an elf, then they simply had to know just how influential of an elf I was. No to mention it hastened the connection between myself and vampires.

(((little bit of info: Toraan is the oldest and the wisest of my brothers, he knows a lot...)))
"You must tell me Zeroc, what has been going on while I was resting?" He asked, "how is the Lord?"
"I will tell you in private, some other time..." I replied.
We both agreed for the same reason, these humans needed not know.
"Let me meet your allies, the one's standing over there..." He suggested (more like ordered)
"Them? I don't know them well enough myself..." I informed him.
"Well then, brother, let us get to know them better, a formal introduction is to take place, would you not agree?" He asked.
"Of coarse, proper introductions might be necessery." I replied as we walked (and for Toraan, floated) over to the rest of the group.

Toraan looked at the girl and was not amused by her remark, well, he doesn't really find anything even SLIGHTLY amusing...
"I, am Toraan, I have noticed that my brother here knows you, although he might have failed to have learnt your names, what are they?" he asked them, he was obviously more comfortable around humans then I was.

"Shes Rachelle." I replied. "I'm Maya. Thats Joshua, Nicki, Doc, Jessy, Rory and Cervil. Now i got a question for you- what are you doing here? Not to be rude or anythin', just gotta check, y'know?"
He looked me over, and i returned his gaze without a waver.
"A slayer." He said in a low, contemplative voice.
