Whoever was in the robot saw me as a threat and started firing missiles, which I avoided.
I headed for the top, where I had punched a hole.
I grabbed onto the shield, it started zapping, and when I didn't let go, it zapped harder. I held on as I watched electricity start to creep it's way up my arms and legs.
It hurt, a lot, but I was able to hold on. My tail flung aimlessly and out of control. I let out a screech and continued to hold on. The electricity started to creep over more of my body now.

I continued to hold on.
'Concentrate!' I, or rather the insect, thought, 'Hit the shield with our tail!'
I hit the shield with my tail. It took some of the charge away from me.
'Again!' The insect thought.
I hit it, over and over again. The electricity had consumed my entire body now, but was weakening.
