Just to be safe, I erected a Time Bubble barrier, with added power from my amulet, and put that barrier between all of us and the half vampire half pure demon so-called "Prince".
"Just being cautious," I say to the looks I get. "I've tested this, and while Mai and Willow working together can overload one of my shields, with just me powering it, with my amulet adding the power, not even Ate can get in here. (And don't anyone even think of countering that. Because I swear by the Server this game is put on I'll call out foul.) I have in essence created a sub-dimensional pocket around us and nothing can get through."

"Wanna bet?" I looked annoyed, lit cigar started to play with the smoke rings. Both Maya and Joshua looked if they were going to smash me to the ground. "Hey I'm just saying, no need to be all 'girly slayery', and no more of that 'I want to damn Trex to hell atitude' Hell is my home and its more comfortable than standing with you 'girlies'..."

"Consider yourself lucky you aren't a head shorter already, Devil Boy," I growled.
"We need him, so you can't kill him. Yet." I exhaled sharply. Great.
"Alright, we'll get your explanations later. Right now, if you could pick up some of the staglers..."
"Why should I?" Trex demanded. I glared at him, lightening crackling in my eyes.
"Because de giant rock is just a start," I said calmly, letting Francois out to play. "Dis desturbance will eventually spread out ta detroy every dimension, heaven and hell included. So, mon ami, if you want a home to go back to, You may want to help. Otherwise, we're all dead, you inclided, neh sei pah?"
((I don't know french or cajun. I'm basing Francois' charecter around Gambit from the X-Men))

Wanting to do something I shifted quickly through my favourite animals, ending with an owl. I flew up to Maya's shoulder and hooted softly. I glanced around and noticing everyone was concentrating on the Trex guy and not really on the unconcious guy, I hooted pointedly, turning my head to Tucker and back. I was sure it wasn't a good thing having demons creeping towards him.

I left my glance from Trex to hear Jessy's thoughts and with one look at Tucker, it was hard to not see a demon coming towards him. Damn what's with the magnetism?
'Tucker!'
Placing my hand up I concentrated hard and formed a shield around his still unconcious body. Thank god I'd been practising. Unfortunately the demons had started to swarm around the body and I looked back at the semi-circle around Trex
'Guys get your butt kicking butts over here now! Mai I can't hold this all day'

When I heard Nicki's cry, I shifted into panther form and leapt on the nearest demon. Unfortunately, I then realised I had no idea what to do. In a panic I tore at the demon's head. What do I do? I thought, roaring wildly.

I heard Jessy's thoughts reverberate around my brain and I held up my other hand, concentrating as hard as I could until I targeted the demon and let him explode, leaving Panther Jessy by herself
'Jessy try not to panic okay girly? Just dismember the demons as best as poss and the less panic the good'
Looking down at my hands, I was glad to see a purple crackle meaning I was fully charged. I pushed my hands out from my body and grinned as a line of demons flew backwards.
Bring it.

"Just help, devil-boy." I snapped to Trex, before joining Nicki. I swept my hand around, following a line of attacking vamps, and smiled in satisfaction as each one exploded into dust in turn. I helped Nicki with the shield about Tucker, and took every demon that came near me. "Do we have big friggin targets on our chests?" i yelled, "How do they keep finding us!?"

'I hate to say it but I think someone might be mystically tracking us. We are after all' I paused to shatter a small weasley looking vamp 'Practically the only humanish people left in LA'
Tucker gave a sudden groan and shifted slightly and I rolled my eyes
'Nice time to wake up Tuck'

"AHH! Where the hell am i!?" Tucker screamed. I rolled my eyes, "Street..." Staked a vamp, "Middle of..." Kicked a demon in the head, "Big fight." I finished. Tucker cowered, and i shook my head, "Bloody hell- guys we have to get him back to the centre, and those other people... one sec." I raised both hands into the air, momentarily dropping the sheild about Tucker, who yelped as my eyes turned opaque black. I felt the wonderful tingle of magic flowing through my whole body, and released it. There was a low boom, so low it was only just audible, and something like a shock wave eminated from my body. though it didn't effect my friends, every vamp or demon it hit was obliterated- that is any demon in a two mile. When it stopped, the black of my eyes faded, and i stumbled, not falling because suddenly Joshua was there to catch me, looking worried. "I'm ok." I said, shaking my head and pushing him away to stand on my own two feet. "That should give us some time- lets go."

I shifted into an owl and soared off towards the training center. Already I noticed vampires and demons scurrying towards the group. I swooped over a particulalary nasty group of about 20, who were lying in ambush behind an abandoned hot-dog stand. The cat who had first caught my attention and focused it on the ambush sped away. Weird, I thought. I settled myself in a tree and waited for the others. I knew it would be stupid to take them on on my own. I didn't have a drop of magic or even a weapon. Reminder, I thought, ask for a weapon.

We split into two groups. Feeling a little tired, i agreed to take Tucker and Jessy back to the training centre, while Doc, Nicki, Josh, Ate and the reluctant Trex would split to cover the city in search for remaining humans. Joshua didn't seem so sure about me going alone, and grabbed my hand as i was about to leave. "Mai..." He said. "I'm fine." I insisted, "Really." "But..." "Josh, you dont need to protect me." He sighed, "I know." I nodded, "So get going." I told him, pulling him close to kiss him lightly "And dont give Ate a hard time- i'll see you in a bit." "Be careful." He said. "Always." I replied, before grabbing Tucker and walking off in the direction Jessy had flown.
I could soon feel demons filtering back into the area i had cleared, and knew it wouldn't be long before they were upon us. When i saw Jessy sitting in a tree, near a hotdog stand, i froze, and Tucker said, "What?" "Sh." I said sharply, looking around. There were demons very close by... Jessy morphed into a monkey, and pointed to the hotdog stand. I grinned. [Tucker, keep you mouth shut, and take this.] I handed him a stake. [you know magic- so cast yourself a little shield, it should help.] I looked up to Jessy in the tree, [Be a panther- from there you can jump right down on top of them, and a panthers claws and teeth can decapitate a demon no problem.] The monkey nodded, and changed. [lets go then.] i said to them both.
The problem came when the group of twenty demons stepped out, ruining our attack- they'd known we were there. And another group appeared from behind. Almost fifty demons surrounded me and Tucker, Jessy still in the tree. "Sh*t." I murmured. "D-d-do that thing again!" Tucker cried. I nodded- it took a hell of a lot of energy- energy i wasnt positive i had right now, but there was no other way we'd survive. I held out my arms, and called up what strength i could. My eyes went black, and the wave went out, but didn't even reach the back of the demon hoard before i passed out. The last thing i heard was Tuckers terrified cry...

Now was my moment. I leapt down snarling and swiping with my paws. As the demons closed in I attacked as many as I could. I lost track of my own body until my head whipped round and saw Tucker surrounded by demons, holding a stake above his head. Mai was in a pretty bad situation too. I took a chance. I shifted and jumped (in kangaroo form) over the heads of the vampires and demonic creatures. My only hope was to make the demons chase me to the rest of the gang. Regardless of what Mai thought, she needed help right then.

"You are USELESS!" I shouted at Tucker as I sent out over fifty exploding Time Bubbles, scattering the demons and killing off over half of the remainders. I had appeared the second before Mai had hit the ground. Fun thing about Time Travel, you are never late. "Jess! Get down here, and a suggestion; have you every tried TYRANESAUROS REX! !!!!!!" Jessy, in panther morph, jumped down and looked at me like I was crazy . . . and then it looked like a light went off in the panther's head and she morphed back to human. "I don't know, I've never tried to change into a dinosaur before . . ." she said, shaking off the disturbing feeling of ending another entity's life, even if it was only demons. "TRY NOW!" I shouted, distracted as I tried to hold off the demons with what few long-range abilities that I have. "ALL RIGHT! You don't have to shout!" she shouted back at me and then closed her eyes to concentrate. Half a minute later she was a fully grown T-Rex, straight outta Jurassic Park. She opened her eyes, and then her mouth as she let loose one of the most bone-rattling, gut-renching, fully-entrenched-into-everythings-DNA roar that stopped all of the demons cold, and actually dragged Mai out of unconscousness. "Nice," I said appreciatively as the demons ran. All the ones that had seen Jurassic Park anyway. The rest I easily handled. Leaving us alone for the time being.
