I let go of Charlie. I was scared, I wanted to go home and curl up. Instead I just cried.

Quietly I made my way over to Jessy and wrapped my arms around her while she cried. All of us had been through so much pain and death in our lives that it felt so unfair anyone should go through anymore

I cried until I had no tears left. However, sobs still rose in my throat. I couldn't see why it had happened. Why. That was the big one. I wanted answers.

I appeared in a flash of flames beside Pepper. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had finaly got the hang of the whole teleporting thing. I stopped being so happy when I saw the body on the ground. "What happened?"

"What?" Doc snapped.
"They dont live in this dimension, and no one knows what dimension they DO live in. They flit in when they need or want to..." I shook my head, "We wont be able to find them."
"We will!" Doc said, "No matter how long it takes, we'll find the evil bastards, and..."
"And... thats the other thing... they're not typically evil." I said, the words bitter in my mouth. But thats what i'd read. Thats what the book said. So why they had done all this... that i did not know.

I was shaking. But I wasn't cold. My pulse was raising, my heart was trying to bash it's way out of my chest.
"Not..." I choked, tears streaming down my face. "For God's sake, Maya, look waht they did to her!! If they'd left her alone, Charlotte would still be alive. I...I'd be able to hold her. To...oh God..." I collapsed to my knees, sobbing loudly. Why? Why did this happen?

I registered Jessy on the edge of my senses, which weren't really up to speed at that point. I got to my feet shakily and hugged her gently.
