Cool," I said, grabbing pen and paper. "I need you to head to the Dojo - it's not hard to find. I put a big ol' teleport beacon in so Ate could find it - and grab these books. Hang on a tick," I rushed to the phone, dialled teh Dojo's security system and said into teh phone "Security window two hours. Teleport in and out to Library only."
"Acknowledged," the system confirmed. I hung up and turned to Pepper.
"You have a two hour window," I said, writing down the rest of the list. "You're limited to teh Library. Once this is over, I'll give you full Slayerette clearance."

A vampire hurried towards me, and bowed low. "Yes?" I asked impatiently.
"They are coming." He said, his eyes fixed on the floor. None of my vampires dared look me in the eye, as i got bored with my minions very easily.
"Who is coming?"
"Slayer." He said, and my lips pulled into a smile. "I see a slayer..."
"Good." I said, and i kicked the vampires head, and he fell back on the floor, crying out in pain. I sneered at him, "Get up. Don't be such a baby." He stood up shakily, and waited for instructions, blood dripping from his forehead. I walked closer to him, and he whimpered in fright. I licked the blood off his forehead, and then pushed him back. "Go. Keep guard. Kill anyone that comes near...but leave the slayer for me."
The vampires scurried off, but Rory stayed by my side. "Can I..."
"Kill?" I finished. "Of course you can baby. You can have the school girl...Jessy...is that her name?" He nodded. "You can have her...you can do whatever you want with her."

I smiled nastily. So she knew i was coming. But she didn't know me, now did she, or the fact that of late my maternal type instincts had gone sky high, and i included jessy in that.
[Jessy? No speaking til i say, k?]
She nodded. [i'm gonna have to ask you to distract Rory. Can you do that?]
She shuddered, but nodded.
[Dont worry.] I took off my jade necklace and fixed it round her neck, [Be careful.] i said. [this'll protect you, but not completely.]
She nodded again, a little impatiently, and then we did what i knew the vamps weren't expecting. We marched right in. I barely paid any attention to the hench vamps, my katana stabbing and slicing without a thought. We entered the main chamber, and i smiled at the vampire bitch, from whom i could feel dark power emanating.
"Well you must be Grace." I said amiably.

I turned around at the voice, and smiled as I saw the blonde. "Slayer, how nice to meet you." I said, as sweetly as I could. "I see you got through my men already."
"They were easy." She said.
"Ah, arrogance. How wonderful." I flicked my hair over my shoulder, and my face changed...my eyes turned yellow and my fangs grew longer. "I shall have such pleasure in killing you...and I will, by the way. I have never lost to a slayer." And then, my smile grew as i smelt and felt the power she possessed. "And I've never lost to a witch either."

Flicking through the books I eventually found the ones Doc wanted i noticed a shadow moving by the wall . "Damn vampire" I muttered

"Hello Rory. Nice to see you again." I tried desperately to keep my voice cool.
"Jessy. I wasn't aware they did home delivery." His voice was so smooth it was almost a purr.
"Yes, well, we're a special service. Every vampire gets a free staking." With a snarl he launched himself at me, fangs at the ready.

"Thats kinda obvious with you not being dust an all." I quipped. I smiled. "I'm different."
She snorted in disbelief.

Quickly I shapeshifted into a falcoln and flew over to where he was standing. Before he could realise i was there i landed on his face and dug my talons into his eyes. Before he could start to attack me i shifted back and staked him. "Oops" I said, looking down at my toes-they were covered with blood.
