I shifted quickly into my favourite form, a panther. Rory smirked. "Honestly Jessy you are so predictable. This will be easy." He shifted to, becoming a lion. We flew at each other in a whirl of claws.

It wasn't hard to find them, Jessy especially. My promise earlier rang true, even with my Sabre. she was the easiest to find and when I foud a lion and a panther duking it out...
"Back. Off." I growled. Vampires are demonic, no matter their form, so the blast from my Sabre hurt the lion so much it transformed back into Rory. "Rory, Rory, Rory. Haven't you figured dis out yet? You hurt my girls, I hurt you. You can turn into whatever you want, homme. Dey didn't call me de Butcher of de Byous for no good reason. Now, you come along quietly, we get your soul back, all is good. You fight...well, I don' wanna hurt you, mon ami, but you hurt Jessy. You hurt her bad. I don' like when people hurt my daughter."

"Back off, Doc. Please." He did so and Rory and I continued our fight.
Shift, shift, shift, that was my strategy and Rory knew it. He followed my moves, attacking and defending expertly. I gave up shifting and stuck to human form. It was no better but it was no worse. He was stronger and larger and soon I would be defeated but I carried on. I was going to take this fight till the end.

"Dont even think it." I warned, the disgust clear in my voice. I knew Doc have turned up, and that Pepper had done something. I was pissed off, but wouldn't take my concentration from Grace. "We gonna fight some time soon or are you waiting for me to fall asleep from boredom?"
She snarled, and finally lunged...

I didn't expect an answer. But I did recognise the shape that merged with Jessy.
'Let's even this up a bit, shall we?" An etheral voice said. I was totally bown away.
"Jasmine?"

I don't know what happened but whatever it was sure helped. And then Pepper's energy came along. whatever was doing this obviously wanted to even things up. I launched myself at Rory with redoubled fury.
