My whole body was shaking, and in my mind i felt as if i was caught in the middle of the freeway in rush hour... on fast forward. And yet i couldnt grasp any of the information i knew was right there.
"WHY!?" I cried, "Why would they not let me remember?? Why give me information and make me forget it? It makes no sense Doc..."

I chuckled,
"I've lost track." I replied. But i did remember... and i remembered the incredible surge of pure energy, like when i reach for the wiccan magicks... but so much deeper. "But i know what you mean." I added. "Ready? Fasten your seatbelt." I grinned, and reached for the power... i didnt know how exactly, and I knew that had Doc not been holding my hand it simply wouldnt have been there.... but there it was. Burning bright in some recess within not one or other of us but the combined unit that formed 'the balance'. I glanced once more at Doc... and then let it go...

The light exploded from us, doors appearing everywhere as the shdow demons ran for it. "We're here to guard this place," We said together. "here, our power is infinite. cross us and die. For we are Balance."

Any shadows caught in the blast simply dissintegrated, but most of them were too quick, and in moments they were gone, and we reeled the power back in. My eyes were wide, my breathing heavy, and my body shaking.
"Could get used to that." I murmured. "Where did those words come from, Doc? I just found myself saying them..."

"Yeah yeah excuses excuses..." I rolled my eyes and we returned to the regular world. We stepped out of the office to find everyone starring at us,
"You ok?" Aila asked, frowning.
"yeah...." I replied.
"You're both kinda... glowy." She clarified.
"Really?" I exclaimed, "Weird..." I glanced at Doc and realised she was right, though it was fading. Residual of the energy i supposed. I shrugged, "Dont worry about it. What was it you wanted to say?"
