The 'Training Center' was part dream-come-true and part living-nightmare. Especially for the heroes of the city.
A five-story building (above ground) dedicated to increasing the power available to said heroes. Vamps, unless given a specific pass by the owner, who is only known as "The Owner", are banned with a barrier more potent than that of private homes. Furthermore, dangerous violence, with the intent to kill or permanently injure, is prevented with a version of the spell in Carita's. The violence used in training, no matter how violent however, since it's not intended with evil intent, is perfectly allowed and not hindered in anyway.
The first level, or Lobby, is what the public sees. A typical gym that you would see at any Bailey Total Fitness or Fitworks. A warm-up place, and a great cover business.
Then, on the second level, which is only accessed, along with the further above levels, with a key-used elevator, is the real gyms.
These gyms use the latest in technology and security-magic levels to provide the most intense and strength-inducing workout that any warrior of Light could ever dream of. There are the Gravity Gyms, the Survival Gyms, the WorkOut Gyms, the Sparring Gyms, and the Uni-sex Sauna. Except for the Sauna, there are five to each Gym.
On the 3rd level, this is where Witchs come to train. Whether that be in meditation, or the use of their powers, or in a magical dueling arena, similar to 'Sparring'. The meditation rooms, 15 of them, are sealed with wards that activate the moment a magically-inclined person steps into them and closes the door. The wards keep their magic in and protect them from noises or outside magics disturbing them. The Dueling areas, (See the Dueling Platform in HP:Chamber of Secrets).
On the 4th level, this is where the warriors and people of the Light may recieve training in strengthening their minds and knowledge. In short, it's the biggest damn Library outside of the Library of Congress.
The 5th level . . . nobody has the key to and nobody can ever get into, unless invited. This is where the Owner's offices are and only his/or her (nobody knows if the Owner is male, female, or demon) guests are allowed up there. It's even more protected than the entire building as far as people trying to sneak in through magic or mundane means.
Then we have the basement, which is accessible through stairs from the lobby. Here there is the boiler room, and replacement parts for the exercise machines and additional mats. Also for the puclic eye.
From the Elevator though, we can access SubLevel 1, which is actually the basement for Levels 2 and 3, replacement parts for all the training equipment.
Sublevel 2 is an even more intense training area, picking up where Level 2 left off. Here, there are Holographic training gyms, including Gravity enhancers as well, and there are three Sparring arenas where there are weekly fights that people, if they want to, can bet on the sparring matches between people that go on there.
Sublevel 3 is the same for Level 3, only no meditation rooms. Here, there is a Labrynth of sorts that can increase magical abilities, either by increasing reserves, or teaching new powers to. That is . . . if you could survive. There are also similar arenas for Magical duels as on Sublevel 2.
Sublevel 4 is a single room, which contains a mystical seal. Good for meditating since the wards here are so powerful that you could release the magical equivalent of a Hydogen Bomb and there wouldn't even be a muffled boom, or a scorch mark on the floor. What is sealed, only the Owner knows and there are no clues as to what it could be. The Seal just looks like a manhole cover on the cement floor, but nobody, not even an Immortal or a powerful mage or witch could touch it. Not because of a barrier, they just literally *can't* touch it.
There is a Sublevel 5, but the only way to get to it is from a door, which connects through a portal, on the 5th Floor. Supposedly there are some very powerful weapons stored down there, but nobody has yet been down there to confirm this one way or another.
The staff are normal people without names or opinions, but that's only cause they work on the Cover business floor. The only people allowed on the upper or Sublevels are the ones that train there.
Oh, and all the vending machines are free and magically restocked everytime someone takes something.
This should be fun!
