There was something about this. I wasn't sure what, but something about this entire situation seemed... wrong. Me, TPot and Maya. What was the connection there?

((just to note that if Josh just came to mayas dream, then you have to make sure you dont figure stuff out too quick, cos a week passes in cleveland and we still dont know whats up. k?))

A week of research later, me tending to the weak ones as every time I got near the main Library, Jessy gave me a sour look that was entirely territorial. I figured, with Joshua's support of it, that if the shapeshifter did not want my help, I was not going to force it down her throat. Although I continued to offer it at regular intervals.
Joshua was getting more and more distracted throughout the week. I thought it was the situation, but then I too began to notice something very wrong. Whenever I touched the sword I always kept with me, it felt . . . hot. And it almost seemed to be humming . . . like it was vibrating with energy.
<Joshua, what are you . . .> I began to ask him when a powerful psychic message, with a strangely familiar taint, broadcast throughout the minds of everyone in the room.
[Doc, Rogue, Joshua- and all those who know themselves as the slayerettes, come to Maya's apartment NOW if you want her to live.]
"Ate?" Doc weakly whispered.
I traded looks with Jessy. Ate knew who and what I was, and I was sure she had been the one to send the message. So why was she asking for Joshua?
"They can't be moved, how the heck does goddess almighty expect them to get there?!!" Jessy shouted.
"I will take care of that. How fast can you get to Maya's apartment?" I asked, moving briskly as I brought all of victims closer together.
"What? Why? What are you going to do?" Jessy demanded to know.
"I will explain in a moment," I told her as I began forming seals and gathered my chakra. A moment later, there was a poof of smoke next to me and an identical me standing there, save for the sword on my back.
I turned to Jessy. "Get to Maya's as quickly as possible. She will be following you," gesturing at my doppleganger, "as I do not know where Maya's apartment is. And Joshua is not speaking to me at the moment. Hurry, we do not have time!" I ordered the shapeshifter, prompting her into motion, changing into a falcon, which quickly flew up to and out the window, my doppleganger leaping up after her.
Less than fifteen minutes later, I was ready and began forming seals again. A ring of light surrounded myself and the unconscious, before being covered by a blinding light, and then disappearing in a large poof of smoke.

I thought of something immediatley I left. I flew back in another window. The doppleganger gve me a glare."Ok ok let me just grab a book."
In my hurry I didn't look hard and a book I had reahed for fell to the floor, landing open. I knelt down and was just about to close it when I read the first line. My face paled and the breath caught in my chest. "This is it. Oh God, this is it."
Clasping the book I flew, faster than ever before over the city o Mai's appartment.
