Karen froze and looked up suddenly when the laughter started. It wasn't girlish giggling, or even human laughter. It was the dispossesed cackling of the truly damned and dead.

"You didn't think your little coven could actually do it, did you bitch?" the disembodied voice crowed into the room and into her thoughts as well.

Paling slightly, Karen glared at her subordinate and a death spell formed on her lips, but was interrupted as a dark shadow peeled itself away from the rest of the shadows of the room. They pooled together, like wisps of smoke forming into a cloud.

They actually formed into . . . Joshua!

"Hello . . . Betrayer," he said, his glowing red eyes looking right at the witch, Karen.

[Pepper]

Once we had notified Grace , Rory and I went back to our smooch fest.....that is until T-pot floated through the door.

((Ummm... I can't excatly brust through doors, I have become a spirit.))

"Betrayer? Wrong word honey. I was never on your side so I never betrayed you." I idly brushed a hair out of my eye. "Nice trick though. Please explain." (((Really do. I fail to see how you managed to avoid that.)))

I crept through the corridors, my heart beating so hard i was certain the sound of it would give me away. I could feel waves of anguish coming from Faith... i was getting closer. Suddenly, what felt like a strong wind made me freeze, and cover my face. When i dropped my arm again, i gasped.
"J..Josh?"
He smiled softly,
"Hey Mai."
"Are you... i dont..." I couldn't form a full sentence. "I knew..." I bit my lip to stop from crying. I had known that he had probably been caught, but this... this meant he was dead. Again.
"Hey... no tears." He said soothingly. i chuckled,
"I didnt realise i was still capable of crying."I said. I looked up into his ghostly eyes, "You're... dead, aren't you?" I said quietly.
"Are you're as observant as ever." He joked. "Mai... dont do this- you're weak, you're not ready..."
"But i have to do it anyway." I cut him off.
"But..."
"No buts. I have to, Josh, and you know it."
I could see the pain in his face- the knowledge that there was very little he could do to help. "Being here is enough." I told him. I walked around him, and headed for the door i knew they were behind.
