"That's not very nice," a voice said.
"huh?" The three looked around. "Who's there?" Jessy demanded.
"I am," the voice said.
"Who are you?" Maya asked.
"I am teh voice of the computer controlling all systems within the Dojo. You may call Mal."

"What I do this time?" i said, entering the Library.
"I think she's referring to me," Mal answered.
"Oh right," I said, wincing at teh glares.
"Who was that?" Charlotte asked.
"The AI that runs the Dojo's computer systems," I informed her. "I just got the system up and running yesterday. He has a full list of both the Library and the vaults, as well as being on of if no the fastest computer on the planet. His personal security system is top notch, more complex than my mental defences, to keep hackers out."

Oh great, that I hadn't expected.
"Jessy," I said, moving over to teh shifter. "Do you honestly think I'd put in something that would hurt people?"
"No," she said. "But these things can get out of hand."
"Jessy, it won't," I said. "It isn't the first time Mal's been runnning something for me. He... He was invented by me first girlfriend, Jasmine. I kinda promised I'd look out for him."

"How's about you're a computer, and you're too smart for a computer?" Jessy snapped. Silence.
"Oh boy, now you've done it," I muttered, moving to the terminal.
"Done what?" Jessy asked as she and the others followed.
"Hurt his feelings," I said as we got there. "Mal? You still there, buddy?"

"I don't think she likes me too much," Mal said. I let out a sigh, and made a decision.
"I'm going after her," I said, quickly pecking Charlotte on the cheek."Mal, try not to piss anyone else off."

I sat on the table and crossed my legs,
"Soo, Mal... what sorta stuff d'you like best?"
Charlie raised her eyebrows,
"Mai, please tell me you're not flirting with the computer." She said.
"uh! I have a boyfriend!" I retorted, then went a little pink, [but come on- he DOES have a nice voice...] I added mentally. Charlie burst into giggles.

"I've found internet gaming to be a most interesting pass time," Mal said. "Though, if I may, the computers holding the records for the city are rather...stupid. I was hoping for intelligent conversation."

I wrapped my arms around me. It was cold out here. The dojo had a nice central heating system...probably run by Mal. I hoped Doc enjoyed his computer. Mal was a better studier, cleverer and on the whole a better creation. Who needed me when they had a computer like that? Noone.
I decided to cut my journey time and flew the rest of the way.
