"Hang on, guys," I muttered, doing the same thing I did with Maya. Once again, a shadow detached itself from the still body of my friend, though this time, she didn't awaken. "Nick- Nack?" I whispered as the shadow thing gained physical form. I turned to face t, lightening dancing in my eyes. "If you've harmed her I swear by every god that's listening you will pay."

The demon fell down and died, "He payed anyway I said as I steped into the room, " We haven't made many friends have we?"

"Doesnt seem so." I replied. My Katana appeared from (literally) nowhere, and i sliced my shadow demon's heard off. Without even i pause, i went to Nicki's side.
"Nicks?" I said, resting my hand on her arm, "Nicki, please girl, wake up."
Doc stood just behind me, frowning."Joshua's still in there." He said. I nodded,
"An' i'm goin' in."
"Whoa, is that a good idea?" Doc asked. I shrugged,
"Dont know, but Nicki's in trouble... so i'm doing it anyway." I crossed my legs, and closed my eyes, and wehn Doc waved his hand before me, and called my name, there was no reply. Maya had left the building.
Instead, i was standing in what could only be described as a waste land... and there were three Nickis, one female Joshua, and the whatever it was they were trying to fight- it didn't look the same as mine. Nicki was clearly weakening, and Josh wasn't fairing to much better.
"Need a hand?" I offered.

"Slayers," I muttered in digust. "Always jump in to trouble first ask questions never," I turned to the barman, who was crawling out from behind the bar. "Better get some drinks. We're gong t need them," he nodded and went to get the drinks, I then touched my Saber on Nicki's shoulder...

... and found myself in what was left of LA, standing next to my own corpse.
"Talk about your out of body experiances," I muttered as I followed the sounds of battle, almost trpping over a clearly human Nick, her other halves battling against some kind of shadow demon along side Maya and the very female Joshua. "Nick-Nack?" The girl looked up at me, scared to death.
"Doc? But your dead. I saw..."
"Illusions, Nick-Nack," I said soothingly. "And you can shatter them easily."
"How?" She asked. It was easy to see what had happened. She'd split into the three personas again, like what Dru had done that night. The was the completely human from, and without her, things weren't going to go well. Fortunately, I had a remedy for that.
"I'll show you," I said, holding out my Soul Saber, extending the hilt so she could grab it. As I polled her up, the Saber duplicated. Nicki looked at me in shock.
"This is your mind," I said. "Anything is possible, if you will it."
"But..." she began.
"You brought it, remember?" I said. "Even though you gave it to me, there is still a part of you that thinks its yours. I'll take care of that later, for now though, its usefull. the powers yours, Nick-Nack. Use it."
((Slight modification so its within the time frame. I've been meaning to bring this up. Nows a good time.))

((Right I've been putting this off because I've had *no* idea what to write so I'm just going to go for it))
I tightened my hold on the soul saber and slowly turned round
'Right' I swallowed nervously and looked at the shadow demon 'Illusion' I winced as he knocked Jay over 'Well.. Maybe not, but shatterable at least'
Walked forward a little, stopped, walked forward a little more, stopped when a large shadowy hand struck out at me and took a step back. Well now that's sorted out I'm going to just... have to...
I pulled back my arm and threw the saber as hard as I could. It spun round and the blade pushed straight through the chest of the big demon and my eyes turned yellow as the werewolf vanished. A second later the witch vanished and my hands crackled with energy and I grinned, summoning back the soul saber and watching as the shadow started to fade, mere wisps left as I turned to my friends
'Could all very much alive passengers please depart from my head and have a nice day'

"Way ta go Nicks." I grinned at her, sent her a little wave, and disappeared, reawakening on the floor of the spot. I blinked a couple of times, and smiled at Doc, "I hope i dont have bed hair." I murmured as i sat up, patting the top of my head to check.

"Well, that was amusing," I muttered. "Um, where's Joshua?"
"Wasn't he with you?" Nicki asked.
"He was in your head a moment ago," I said. Nicki looked at me in consusion. "The strange girl? That's JOsuha's astral projection. It's a side effect from the whole 'demonny' thing."

I frowned,
"He was here a moment ago- he came in in physical form so he could try to help Nicks..." I looked around, and we all heard a groan.
"Ow." Joshua said from under a table, where his physical body had fallen of the bench it had been lying on. He sat up, and yelped, "Ow!"
I grinned.

'Well I'm afraid Nicks, that's what happens when you split in three, have three friends and a big demon inside your head' Mai smiled 'Gets a little crowded'
'God yes' I raised my hand to clutch my head and smacked myself with the saber 'Ow dammit... Doc this belongs to you'

Nicki was saved, the Bar was saved, if in ruins, but still salvageable, and everyone was alive and healthy, and Tpot was drunk and well on his way to passing out hopefully. So why did my stomach hurt all of a sudden?
"Ow!" I cried again, rubbing my abdomen.
"Oh stop whining you big baby, and just..." Maya trailed off as her eyes went wide and she stared off into empty space, but at one corner of the bar in particular, "...grab a weapon as soon as you can find it!"
I did as ordered, having known not to doubt Maya's instincts after all this time, but the best I could manage was a club/stake from one of the broken table legs. As we all watched, it seemed every shadow of the room was gathering in the corner where Maya was looking, but somehow we all knew that this was not like the shadow demons we'd held off before.
This was the Big Boy, the one that had incapacitated a full powered Witch/Werewolf, on her guard without her knowing about it till it was almost too late. And judging from the way Maya suddenly got nervous, not anxious or excited, NERVOUS, which is a very scary sight to see, this thing was a lot more powerful than the average things we faced.
"Plan?" I asked.
Doc drew his Soul Sword back out and palmed a Desert Eagle, "Don't die," he answered me shortly, never taking his eyes off the growing shadow.
"Good plan," I added nervously.

I raised my hand despite the blinding headache and felt the energy crackle on my fingertips. I had no immediate weapons, no idea of how to kill the very non-illusion and desperate hopes of not being split in three again. Raising my other hand I muttered a spell and shot a beam of pure light which enveloped the five of us
'We have a very strong shield' I put my hands down 'Hands-free. So I suggest you guys get with the attacking while I work on the don't die plan okay?'
