I walked into the Spot and made a beeline for the bar, ordering a couple of shots of tequila.
The barman gave me a quick nod as if to acknowledge that I was best left alone and I quickly downed my first shot before grabbing my lime and licking the salt of my hand. It's all very technical!
I figure, this is my last full night so I may as well get terribly drunk and have some fun. It's kind of like a ritual.
I knock back another tequila and grin. Ah the joys of alcohol.

"Prepping yourself for fullmoon?" I asked wryly, sitting beside Nicki. She nodded seriously and chucked back another shot. I grimaced- tequila wasn't my thing. I ordered a beer, and sighed, "Alcohol- one of the greatest pleasures in life... how sad is that?"

I chuckled, i'd almost forgotten my nickname from when i'd first come here... which then made me think of something... no, someone else.
"Do we have any clue what happened to Del?" I asked Nicki thoughtfully.

I frowned as I remembered the one of the first people I had met here in LA. Where the hell was she?
