"Definitely of the good." I added with a grin. "As is dancing and drinking. So I will see you all in a little while" I said pulling Doc towards the dance floor.
"So." I said to him when we were out of earshot, "You up for that after party...a very exclusive after party?"

I leaned against a wall, my arms crossed and watched the swaying couple on the dance-floor with a little regret. That thing with Tpot was never gonna work out. That guy was just a little too adolescent, even for me.
“Can hear your little gears grinding in your head pet.” I looked up, a bit startled.
“Spike! I-!” I hadn’t noticed the souled vampire, not really. Him actually coming up to me was a real surprise. I hadn’t seen him since... oh, Gods, I didn’t even know. It was a looooong time ago. “I-it’s good to see you again, old friend.”<br>
“I wouldn’t say friend, pet, but it is good to see you.” He looked me up and down. “Haven’t changed a bit.”<br>
“Neither have you, but that’s to be expected, what we being immortal and all.” I looked at his attire, noticing the near his coat, a near double of my own duster. I raised an eyebrow in obvious question.
He looked at his duster, then back at me a incredulous look on his face. “Wot?”<br>
I sniggered, shaking my head. “Nothing, nothing.”<br>

"I cant believe you didnt tell me." FAith was reprimanding. "Well i just knew that if i told you then the world and her hubby wud know within an hour." "Did you just call me a loud mouth??" "Your words..." "Oh children, children." Buffy teased. She grinned, "Congrats, Mai." But i could see in her eyes that she knew, as i did, that this was not gonna be a walk in the park. "Thanks B." I said, knowing i annoyed her by using Faith's nickname. I saw Spike and Belle talking over her shoulder, but figured it'd probably be best not to mention it. "I still do not understand this concept." Said Illyria to Gunn. I smirked as he rolled his eyes yet again, "Girl, look- the point is that there is no point! You chill, you drink... Stop sniffing the damn thing and drink it!" I suddenly frowned. "'scuse me ladies." I said to Faith and Buffy, and crossed the room to where Josh was discussing fighting techniques with Angel. I smacked Josh round the back of the head, then returned to my conversation, feeling much better. ((  )) |

"I feel like I should be saying," I said to Angel, then shouted, "OW!" and then turned back to the champion to add, "Again. So, how's Conner doing? Heard he got his memory back."
"How did you . . . ?" Angel sputtered.
"Used to be a Time Wizard, and then I was a soul inside a Soul Sword for three months, that kinda tends to keep mind controlling magics from working on me, as well as open up several avenues of information gathering that most people don't have," I explained. "Plus Wolfram & Hart dropped Connor's scholarship, so Doc and I picked it up when we found out who he really is. He never lost his powers I hope you know."
"Yeah I found out when he showed up . . ." Angel absently rubbed his jaw.
"So?" I looked at the souled vampire expectantly.
"So what?" he looked at me blankly.
I rolled my eyes and nearly screamed in frustration. "So how is Connor doing?" I repeated my question.
It went on for quite a while like this.

The party was going great. The arrival of the Sunnydale gang had been a big hit with everyone. Well apart from the fact that I was too busy staring at Tpot to notice.
"Er, peps, lose you there" Jess enquired
"What oh, um sorry" I mumbled back, blushing scarlet.

I grinned. "You know, you really make it too obvious. You gotta be subtle. Go dance near him." I gave her a little push forward and she tried to walk gracefully to th dance floor. I said tried.

I walked up to Tpot, trying not to look too jittery. "Er,um.......hey Tpot........wanna dance" I asked hesitantly. I felt that if I blushed any harder I would shift into a tomato.

I didn't know what to think, let alone say, this was the first time any girl asked me to dance with them, and it was Pepper, I looked around hoping that no-one had noticed her coming over and talking to me, "Sure," I said, "I'm not very good at dancing though."
