'Guuuys I think the limit has been pushed way too hard now. There's gonna be vomiting in a second if you two don't pack it in' I groaned as I saw Joshua's hand snaking out for another strawberry and I smacked it 'Oi you!'

Nicki's slap missed my hand as my arm moved almost faster than sight could follow, grabbing a handful of fruits, strawberries, but others like grapes, banana slices, and mangoes too.
"Wha--!" Nicki was left stunned at my speed. Or the speed of my hands anyway.
I reluctantly broke my kiss with Mai to give her a look and replied to hers, "What? With a sister who's the perfect warrior and the only way I can keep up anymore is to be a better ninja than all four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you better believe that I can move that fast!" Then I fed Mai a mango slice while she put another strawberry in mine, followed by a kiss.
Ooo! Strawberry mango! Yum! ;D

"Just wait til me and Charlotte start up," I said suggestively.
"God, i do not need to see that again," Jessy gagged.
"Then don't look," I suggested.

(((Or something protecty. Or books. She is a Watcher's daughter after all.)))
"There is something seriously wrong with that comment," I teased as we began making our way to the food. "I hope it tastes alright. I was kinda doing multiple things at once, what with setting up sound and cooking and all."

I grinned, kissed Josh once more, and then turned to get some proper food- i was starving- must have been soemthing to do with the super-speed baby growing inside me.
I wanted to give Charlie my present... but i felt that it might so a little trivial after all these amazing gifts... and as if just to make me feel worse, Giles ((((who i cant remember if i sed was here, but he is!))) approached Charlie. "Lo... Charlie." He swiftyl corrected himself. "Rupert." She smiled. "here- this... i... it's not exactly from me as such, it would be unfair for me to claim that... but i found it in the debris after the council... I never had a chance to give it to you before." He held out a thin, flattish package. Charlie frowned, but opened it. Looking over her shoulder, i saw that it was a photo in an ornate silver frame. It showed a beautiful woman with flame red hair sitting on a swing, a beautiful child with the same hair sitting on her lap -Charlie- with a giggling smile spread across her features. Behind them, presumably pushing them on the swing, was a man, also smiling- Charlies father i guessed. Charlie fumbled for the catch on the back of the frame and pulled the photo out, turning it over. In large, childish scrawl was written: To the bestest Daddy in the wurld, Happy Birthday, Lots and lots of love frm Lotte XXX "It was always on his desk whenever i went there." Giles said quietly. "When i found it, the fram had saved it from the fire- even from the blast. The glass was broken, but that was all." Other than that, he could only wait fro her reaction... ((the spelling mistakes in the note were on purpose))

I was struck dumb. This whole day had been amazing, everything had been so thoughtful; the planning, the people, the presents but this was just something so totally different. This was something that stirred up emotions that had lain dormant. It was a link to the little girl still buried deep inside, the little girl who I had tried to forget, claimed she didn't exist any more but in the tears I let fall was the proof that she did. I didn't say anything. I couldn't. Instead I embraced Giles as warmly as I could feeling once again the security he offered. He was my link, back to Lottie. He didn't see her as gone, he brought her alive in me, the little girl who would love and let life bring happiness. Doc did it too. I looked at them both and I felt like I had a family once more. I would never let go of the family I held in my hand but I would extend it and that's what I said in my head. I told my parents, wherever they were, that they would always be in my heart, that I would always have them with me but that I had others now too, others I loved and i would take all the things they taught me about love and use them with my new family. As I ran my finger tip along the boundaries of the faces in the pictures that's what I told them and for a moment I felt that they knew. I wanted to keep the picture on me, i wouldn't let it go easily, so I put it with the stone from Del. As my fingers grazed its smooth surface it felt warm and when I looked it's clarity was once again obscurred by cloud.

Great. I thought- i mean, that was about the sweetest present ever, meaning that mine was even more stupid and insignificant, and pathetic. I decided that maybe it'd be better to pretend that i'd forgotten... "Where's your prezzie Mai?" Jessy asked excitedly. I froze, and forced a smile, "I erm... i kinda mighta forgot it." I said. Josh frowned, "No you didn't- i saw you put a package on the tabel earlier." "This one says it's from you!" Pepper said triumphantly, holding up the slightly lumpy rectangular parcel. "Well waddaya know." I said hopelessly. They passed Charlie the present, and suddenly i really didn't want to be there. The present had been intended to be a bit of a joke, a bit of a change from the hectic, always serious life we both lead... but now it seemed just dumb. Josh smiled at me, and i smiled weakly back. Oh yey. Charlie carefully unwrapped the paper, and i winced. Under the last turn of paper she found a book called 'The first real spell book for teenage witches' and a pair of silver earrings with indigo coloured stones. "They're meant to... balance the inner eye..." I said nervously.

I launched myself at Maya so quickly even she lost her balance for a moment. "I think she likes them." Jessy said bluntly and I looked up grinning like a cheshire cat. "Like them? I've been so desperate to do some magic." I saw Giles' uncertain gaze and rolled my eyes. "Giles I've been around this stuff for 18 years now and look at the people around me, I don't think it's going to get out of control." "Lo-Charlotte the people around you happen to include a seriously twisted witch who would like nothing better to kill you. Do you think that she wont be able to use any skills you develop aginst you?" "Karen?" I asked dismissively, too hyped up to be worried about her. "I'd love her to turn up now, she'd see what some real witches can do." I smiled at Willow. "Be careful what you wish for." Doc whispered in my ear. "Why?" I whispered back."You afraid she's going to interrupt the after party?"
