"Not many. I happen to come across strays more often than I probably should. Not natural for a vampire to have any sort of mortal family or friends." How often I tend to fight my nature as well as revel in it. Not a contradiction... not at all.

"I may do some stupid things, but 90% of the time, I'm in no real danger. Besides," he added with a smile. "I only did it because i knew I had back up," he may not have been entirely happy with her at hte time, but a part of him still trusted her.
