"Sure thing," he said. "Pity. you seem kind of decent for a vamp. And cute," his grin turned into a feral smile as he charged forward, again going at his fastest, mana pouring through his body. "But that don't mean I'll be holding back!"

She grinned and rolled to the side, letting him pass her. Using a hand she tapped him on the back, mentally tallying a point. She turned to face him with a grin. For now he wasn't able to do any real damage to her. No weapon in hand. No stake. No holy water. He was bothersome but he wasn't killable material.

He wasn't sure whether to be annoyed or pissed.
He'd settle for annoyed. she was fast. Faster than him at his top speed. "Okay, I need to train a bit more," he muttered, turning to face her. "You're not exactly a newbie are you. How old are you?"

"About three hundred," she shrugged. "Isn't it rude to ask a lady her age?" she asked as she watched him. "I can tell you're not human. Well, you are but not normal." She side stepped as she watched him. He was pretty fast, but his earlier display gave her an idea of what he could do.

"The apparent title is 'Talented', at least that's what Raven told me," he explained. "And no offence, but i don't think the whole 'asking a lady their age' thing extends to the dead. I might be wrong though, etiquette wasn't really on the list of things I needed to learn."

"You keep bringing up the fact that he'll get off," he said. "And it's possible you may be right. Of course, you might be wrong. He might go to jail for the rest of his life. He might get the death penalty. He might get a visit to the local mental ward. You don't know. Slayer's, as you keep saying you were, don't see the future like that. Either way, he should get a chance. You aren't the law. You're just a leech. A pretty one with a sense of justice, sure, but still a leech. What makes you better than him?"

"Nothing," she grinned dispite herself. "As you said. I'm just a leech. Apparently one with bad taste. What I don't get is you're interest in making sure justice is served when he'd die anyways. What difference if it's by my hand or theirs?"

"On what?" she asked confused, tilting her head to the side. "Are you trying to get me to change my ways?" It was rather interesting to watch him. Finding someone who was different after such a long time, it was amusing.
