Bone shattered as the gloved fist smashed against the opponents face. Doc glared darkly as the vampire stumbled back, touching his broken nose tenderly. "What's wrong, sucker?" Doc asked, his usually jovial demeanor absent. "Not used to someone as strong?" Mana flowed through his body as he charged forward. This guy was obviously a newbie, not worth much. Still, Doc thought, it was good exercise. The more he used it. the better he was.

"That looked painful," she replied as she watched him. Why humans felt the need to play with vampires she had no idea. Of course she did the same when she was human... Now it just seemed pointless. Slay and move on.
She pushed away from the wall and took a few steps forward.

Doc didn't answer, driving his boot into the vampires gut, taking him to the ground. A hand grabbed it by it's hair, lifting it as the stake plunged into it's heart. He stood straight as he looked around, slipping the stake into his jacket. "Where'd she go...?

She raised an eyebrow at him, "You lost sight of her?"

"Yeah, i was kinda busy," he said, walking a little further down the street. "Hey, she was bleeding pretty bad. Any chance...?"

"Any chance what?" she asked him giving him a weird look. "You really need to finish your sentences. I know some folklore says that we can read minds but I have yet ot meet one who could."

Doc rolled his eyes. Was it really that hard? "To smell her blood so we can find her," he finished, checking a nearby alley. "Never mind, i found her. Thanks," he added sardonically, moving to the injured woman. "Easy there. I'm here to help."

"Right," she replied rolling her eyes. She had no time for his antics. Like it was that hard to complete ones thoughts.

The woman seemed out of it. Doc took in stock of her injuries, main one being the jagged cuts in her neck from the vampire. He'd been too late to stop it, but not too late to save her.
If, that is, he could manage it.
He moved next to her, removing the glove from his left hand. "You'll be fine," he whispered, gathering the mana into his hand. "Just relax," he held the hand over the wound, pouring mana carefully into it. First, clot the wound to keep the blood from pouring. Replace what blood he could next, then heal the wound.
It took ten minutes of careful focus, manipulating the mana as best he could, he cut the flow, sitting back with a sharp exhale. all there was of the wound was two jagged scars., "Best i could do," he whispered, noticing she'd dropped unconscious. "She probably still needs a visit to the hospital though," he added. "Man, that was rough. I need to practice..."

"So you plan on just walking up to a hospital and drop her off?" She rubbed the bridge between her nose. "You realise how quickly situations like this turn on people. Selective memory loss?" His ways of doing things was very crass.

"Nope," he said. "i plan on going to a payphone and calling an ambulance about someone collapsing in the street. With no wound, it'll be ruled as anemia," he stood up slowly, a bit wobbly on his feet. "Just as soon as i can stand straight."

She stood, watching him, inwardly sighing at him. Her patience was already very thin and she could feel it thinning even further. She watched the streets and no surprise... no cars passed. This section of town was very quiet and of course it wasn't in the best part of town. Easy space for a vampire to find food and dump it. No that it occured to them that leaving their prey alive meant less spotlight. Less attention to draw a slayer.

"What?" He asked with a shrug. "It usually works," his goofy persona firmly back in place, he wondered idly if she had seen his 'real' self. He'd check later. Right now he needed to call Raven's agent at the hospital and organize things to be taken care of. Even if he wasn't officially a member of the organization any more, he was still regarded as one of Raven's 'flock', meaning he had access to the network, to a point. "Right, I'm stable. Think you can wait here a moment. I think I saw a payphone a little ways back."

"Sure," she replied, glancing at the woman who lay in the street. She still held onto the idea that this was not a good thing to be doing. Saving someone sure... She shook her head, pacing.
Had she not let him act first she would have staked the vampire immediately then have dropped her off at the hospital or leave her in a place where she'd be found quickly. She didn't not worry if they lived or not. That was not her main concern. Sure, it should be. She was a slayer and all but she was not just a slayer. She was a vampire and while she would kill someone who didn't deserve it she did not hang her sanity on weither they lived or not.

As soon as Doc arrived at the payphone, his body sagged, leaning against it. He really needed to practice that more, he really wasn't good at it.
He picked up the phone, dialing the hospital and asking for the agent.
"hello?"
"With one hand, the Destroyer, the other, the Healer," he said, then quickly gave her the cross street before hanging up, breathing heavily. Why he had to have a code phrase he didn't know, but it didn't matter too much. As soon as this was done, he was taking a nice long nap.
Gathering himself, he returned to where Rogue was waiting. "They should be here soon. I'll wait, you can head off if you want."
